Power Girl and Ms. Marvel are progressively weakened and dominated by the villainous Purple Man throughout their ordeal. Initially strong and powerful, they are subjected to a series of demeaning and violent scenarios that strip them of their agency and leave them vulnerable in degrading situations. The sexual tension is palpable as the characters face increasing peril, with no immediate respite or resolution in sight.
