"Yeah baby," Jared Knight said as he looked down at the seated brunette through his chic sunglasses. "All you got to do is sneak in there and get me that little toy. I'll pay you," he said, but paused, "I mean, anonymously donate a hundred thousand dollars to the Marston Street Mission," he added with a tinge of sarcasm that hinted at his doubt that any money would go anywhere but into this young woman's hands.
Anya hated these face to face meetings with clients. Doing things by phone or over the net was so much easier and safer. This one however wanted the personal contact and a hundred grand was...well...a hundred grand. She was cautious to make sure this wasn't a setup for a trap but every thing should 'read' off the man was that he was slime but telling the truth. Anya just sat there primly and didn't say a word as she watched him closly.
He leaned one arm on the bust of Beethoven and toyed with the marble nose. "Baby, what you need to get is a ring. It's made of this greyish metal band with a triangular violet stone. You can't miss it baby. It's one helluva rock."
One of her eyebrows went up ever so slightly at the mention of the target object. "At least its not a fucking statue..." she thought. One client had wanted her to steal a huge statue that graced the inside of a musuem. He would've offered a lot of money but Anya couldn't figure just HOW to steal it and get away at the same time!
He peeked over the top of his sunglasses and gave Anya a slimy grin. "It's a lot like your eyes, baby." He grinned at her still, his thoughts rolling. "Baby, I'll even give you a bonus when you bring that ring back, if you catch my drift."
Anya's eyes rolled ever so slightly as she brought the edges of her leather jacket closer together to hide the swell of her breasts. "Yeah...." she said, knowing that would never happen. "And just where does he keep this ring so I don't have to tear the whole place down looking for it."
He leaned back into the swivel chair and pushed his glasses back into place with a finger. "He's got like this studio, like a museum to show off all the weird ass shit he's collected. It's on the north side of the penthouse. All the windows are tinted silver on the outside so the building can blind passing airplanes I guess. Anyway, the shithead that owns all the weird stuff has the ring on a mannikin. You can't miss the place."
She nodded as she began to come up with a plan to get in and out of the place. Something nagged at the back of Anya's mind about all of this but she just dismissed it. "In and out," she thought. "No fuss, no muss. Unless...."
A stray thought then crossed her mind. "This thing doesn't do anything but look pretty and expensive, right?" She wanted to make sure it wasn't magic or something. Not that Anya had anything against magic but that stuff can be dangerious if handled wrong.
A slimy smile creased his lips. "Hey baby, it's just a ring. You know, metal and gemstone placed on a finger, that kind of thing. I got a customer that wants it, so I want it. It's not a magic lasso, baby."
For a brief moment Anya's eyes narrowed as she looked at the slimeball in front of her. "And I take it that the next thing you want is a magic lasso?" she asked as if trying to drum up busniess. "Know where I can find one?" He was probably joking but she wanted to make sure...
"Naw baby, just saying that the ring isn't magic or anything," he grinned. "It's just a pretty thing, like you baby. Get it, and I'll pay you or whomever you want."
Mentally, Anya rolled her eyes at his latest comment. Knowing she wasn't going to get another more out of this...man besides more come ons she decieded it was time to go. "Fine, whatever," Anya said as she stood up. "When I get the item I'll contact you so you can deposit the money. After that's done I'll tell you where you can pick the ring up." She was about to leave when she turned back to him. "Oh and don't think of setting me up for something. If you do, I know of a nice lesbian gang who just loves to get a hold of men. You may have heard of them, they castrated all the men of a biker gang a few weeks ago."
She smiled sweetly and left.
Several days later....
The building was one of the many highrise condominiums that littered the most posh of downtown addresses. Built of steel and shining one-way glass, it towered over the city streets below.
"Oh this is going to be real fun...." Anya said as she looked up at the target building.
The penthouse windows glinted slightly in the moonlight. At the moment the heroine was standing on the roof of a building across the street and half the size of her target. There were others taller nearby but none at the angle this one had. She had spent the past couple of days trying to figure out how to get into the penthouse without much success. The level of security had ruled out a direct, frontal approach. Anya could've gotten past the guards but it still would've been much too chancy at best. So she had to resort to this... As she checked the quick release harness she wore, she kept looking up at the target. "Damn I hope this is worth it..." Anya crouched down and took several deep breaths. Without saying a word, she ran to the edge of the roof and lept into the night air.
There was the usual night sounds of traffic and sirens but Anya's ears didn't hear any of it. All she heard was the sound of air rushing past her ears and the hiss of a cable as it uncoiled on the roof she had just left. With the force of her leap, Anya went far out before beginning to go down. Before she had dropped more then a few feet, the cable went taunt as it reach its end. The shock traveled down the cable and into the heroine but she refused to cry out. She had too much else to do to bother with a little thing like pain.
As she fell now, the cable guided her in a arc-like motion like the pendulum of a clock. A stanchon back on the roof prevented the cable from swinging her back into the building. It didn't seem like that however as the glass rushed up towards her. Anya stopped her hands from covering her face and kept them at her sides. The stanchon worked and she went past the side of the building in a blur. As she swung past its edge and over the street, she began to go upwards again. Past the roof edge and higher still. Just before the moment the cable would get taunt again, Anya's right hand slapped the quick release on the harness so that it fell away.
Not a single thought ran through her mind as she flew upwards, free as a bird. She had planned this down to the last detail. If she was short, she would smack into the side of the building. If she was long, she would miss and keep on going up. Regardless without a parachute Anya knew she would have a problem. And she couldn't bring one because it was too heavy.
Halfway up the side of the target building, Anya's arms shot out and her hands moved slightly to cup the air. At the same time she tucked her legs in. Her body spun in a ball so that she slowed ever so slightly. Just enough to change her trajectory and therefore her landing spot. Unable to see where she was and relying only on her calculations, Anya stuck her legs out and used her hands to stop the tumble. The instant she did, she felt the sole of her boots touch a solid surface.
Her momentum caused her to fall into a crouch and skid slightly on the smooth surface. Anya sat there for several seconds before daring to open her eyes. When she did she saw that she was on the patio of the penthouse. Her eyes widened as she brushed the wind blown air from her face. "You've got to be kidding me?!" she thought as she rushed to the raling and looked over the edge. The harness and cable were swinging slowly on the other building where she had left them. "I did it???" Anya gave a hard punch into the palm of her hand as she turned to the door.
"Let's see Ultra Woman try THAT!" she thought with a smile.
Catching her breath and letting her heart rate slow down to normal too her a few minutes, but when Anya went back to work, the first thing her trained mind noticed was that the door had security on it. Even up here, practically touching the sky, where only someone that could fly or an Amazon with Anya's training could ever reach.
As she waited for her body to calm itself, she absently tied her long hair in a loose ponytail so to keep it off of her face. At the same time her eyes studied the door edges for signs of the alarm that was sure to be there. "If he doesn't have somethin I shall lose all respect for him..." she thought. Some idiots she had found figured that since they were so high up, no additional alarms were needed. "There we are... Not too hard but a tad complex..."
It was nothing for Anya to reach into her hip pouch, pull out the small electronic device she had bought from that mobster in Reichsborough, and disable to door alarm in half a minute.
The device would made the alarm circuit read that the door was closed even if she left it open all night. Of course, Anya wasn't about to do a stupid thing like that. It only took a second for her to use an ordinary piece of wire to jimmy the lock on the door. Moving it slowly to avoid noise, Anya opened the glass door just enough so she could get in.
Slipping inside, it took the young Amazon's eyes a few seconds to adjust to the dim light. The air was chilly, like a museum. The ceiling had every fifth light illuminated, which allowed the various display cases to cast long shadows across the gray and white marble floor. The walls, of white stucco and frescos, were dotted with glass cases. As Anya carefully walked around the square room, she could see the Ming vase, the Byzantine Orthodox icon, and many other priceless treasures.
But no ring.
"Dammit..." her lips said but not a sound came from her mouth. There was plenty of loot in this place but not the loot she needed. She began to move to see if the ring was just not in her view at the moment. Anya's eyes didn't catch sight of any anti-intruder laser beams but she still moved carefully. Almost looking before she let a foot touch the floor. For all she knew there were sound sensitive detectors in this place. "Might have to borrow a few things for myself on the way back..." she thought as she passed the treasures.
Two doors exited the display room. One was an open doorway that apparently, as Anya found when poking her head around the corner, led to a gallery of paintings. However, the other door was locked tight, not only by the lock on the doorknob, but by a heavy padlock and a keypad to boot.
"Me thinks there's something in there that deserves extra special protection..." she thought as she looked closely at the keypad. A slight smile came to her lips as she saw the tiniest glint of oil on one of the number pads. That meant whoever had used it had left more on other pads. It would just that a little something to make it visable...
A simple brushing of exo-dust revealed the most commonly used numbers on the keypad, and two simple locks were a snap for the sensitive touch of the Amazon. With a click, the door opened and swung open.
"Open seseme," Anya thought as she stopped the door from opening too far and banging on a wall. The hinges were well oiled and made not a hint of sound.
As Anya went to stand up from her lockpicking work, the door opened to reveal a tall glass case. Standing in the middle of it, in the semi-darkness, was a woman. She wasn't particularly tall, but she did have long, silken black hair and violet eyes to match those of Anya. She stood with hands on hips, defiant and confident. Her body, while looking stiff in the shadowy room, had on a costume. Torn red bustier, shredded blue panties, and tall red and blue boots faced Anya in the gloom, but the golden letters on the bustier, a golden U and W, stood out like a beacon...
Anya's eyes opened wided as she took in the site before her in the room. Because of the darkness she couldn't make out much of the features but she did see a hint of the classical Asian eyes. She began to move into the room as she whispered, "What the fuck..."
Looking around the dimly lit room, Anya found herself in a room filled with tall glass display cases, each one with a different mannikin within. Before her was a pasty white mannikin with every feature to make it look like her own mother, Rei. The costume the mannikin wore was torn in many places, including down the middle between the cups of the bustier.
She was so stunned at the sight that she almost let her tools slip out of her hands to fall on to the floor. Before they did, Anya caught them and stuffed them back into her poach. Again she looked at the mannequin before her and felt a longing in her heart for the touch of her mother. She shook her head slightly and lifted her chin up. No way was she going to let some silly emotions get the better of her. Carefully, she began to explore more of the room.
To the left of the fake-Rei was another mannikin. This one was taller, a mannikin with long blonde hair and plastic blue eyes. Also posed with its hands on hips in the stereotypical superheroine pose, this one also had on that familiar Ultra Woman costume. Also torn in places, this one was missing the blue satin panties completely.
"That must be one of Tania's..." Anya thought with a slight smile. "Mom always said that....what did she call her? Blondie! That blondie could never keep her panties on for more then 5 minutes!" Anya had to cover her mouth to stifle a giggle.
To the right of the fake-Rei was another Asian mannikin with plastic violet eyes. This one was wearing the ragged, torn remains of a blue, full bodied swimsuit. Strips of fake black hair pokes out through holes in the hood of the swimsuit.
Her own real violet eyes carefully studied the remains of the suit on the mannequin. "Now I can see why mom thought that suit needed some adjustments. Just a tad too tight in places...." She looked down and saw how form fitting her own outfit was and rolled her eyes. "I should talk..." As she moved about the room, Anya absently tugged at the uniform around her breasts, as if to give herself more room in it.
On around the room went these tall glass cubicles, each one holding a mannikin bearing various superheroine costumes. Most all were bore Ultra Woman costumes. At the right corner of the room was a blonde mannikin bearing a bloodstained costume, next to it three redheaded mannikins each with Ultra Woman costumes in various state of destruction. The line continued in a semicircle around the square room, representing most every Ultra Woman that had been to Megapolis, some, like Rei, with many different mannikins showing various costumes.
"Just how in hell did this guy get those outfits?!" she wondered. Anya was always under the impression that when she transformed that she got a uniform that had been totally repaired of any damage. Now it seemed like she actually got a new one. Because of that she had never looked for the remains of the cloth that had been ripped from her body. "Joy then there might be parts of mine all over the city... Have to keep an eye out for it in the future."
At the far end were five more mannikins, representing one of the two Ultra Girls that had been in the city. All five had Ultra Girl costumes, mostly torn or tattered in some way.
When she saw the Ultra Girl mannequin that represented the current Queen Julia Anya had to fight to keep herself calm. Of course as an Amazon she was suppose to revere her Queen but Anya just couldn't. Not after all the thing Julia had done to her and to her mother Rei. That Anya might have had the slightest blame to any of it just slipped her mind.
The semicircle faced a wall dotted with pictures that literally blanketed the wall. Faint lights pointed down on the pictures.
"Now what?" she asked herself as she looked closer at the pictures. "Oh my....Julia will be rather displeased if this got back home." The picture she was looking at was of Queen Julia in the tattered remains of her Ultra Girl uniform pleasuring, and being pleasured by, a crowd of muscular men. "This one I just have to take..." Anya looked around for any other nice pictures or items to borrow.
The pictures were also in the same type of timeline; older pictures to the left, newer pictures, including one of the last Ultra Woman, Dena, to the right. In the middle, right beside the pictures of Julia, were pictures of Anya's mother. Some were of Rei in her Ultra Woman costume at charity events or simple candid photographs. Most however were pictures or security video captures of Rei in various sexual acts or as a captive. A few included her in the blue swimsuit that was on display across the room.
"Oh my...." she thought with a grin. "You did get into some interesting situations mom..." Anya felt her own loins get a touch warmer as she saw a series that had Rei at the mercy of a large black man with an equally large cock. From look on her mom's face Anya could tell that she was enjoying it. "Now now....down girl..." she thought as she shook her head and moved on.
The wall was covered with pictures of various Ultra Women and the two Ultra Girls, most all of them showing the Amazon heroines in compromising or perilous situations.
To the right side of the room was a doorway. Through the dimly lit gloom, Anya could see a room, much smaller than this, but with other superheroine mannikins and pictures. But it was no where near the size of this collector's Ultra Woman wing.
"I would say this guy has a certain thing about heroines!" she thought as looked around the display. "Too bad most of them are stuck up assholes who need to be taken down a peg or two... Say....I wonder what he we pay if I delivered a few to him?" Anya had no intention of doing that but the concept was a fun one to think about. Suddenly she caught sight of something... "Ah ha! Found you!"
Twinkling in the faint light was a purple stone on a violet metal band. Placed within a square glass case on a pedestal, it sat upon a velvet finger in the middle of the case. Pictures of a woman in a decade old hair style were around the pedestal, showing her glowing with violet energy as she flew across the sky of Megapolis.
Anya knelt before the case and studied it carefully as she looked for any alarms or such items. "This must have belonged to....Violet? One of those old fart heroines.... I'll have to have a word that idiot cuz he said this was a 'normal' ring. Somehow I doubt that...."
Carefully she laid a finger on the glass and felt its surface. "No connections that I can see here.... No sensors...." Anya ducked her head down to look at the metal framed pedestal. "No wires... Well lets give it a shot then." Reaching into her puch again, Anya pulled out a small glass cutter that she placed on the case's surface. "Come to mama...." she said as she began to cut a circle in the glass.
Perhaps she was distracted by the pictures of her mother being raped by dozens of men and a few women, or perhaps it was the torn Ultra Woman costumes on the lookalike mannikins. Whatever it was, Anya hadn't noticed the faintest pale wisps of gas that hovered along the white base of the case. As she used a small plastic suction cup to pull away the circle of glass she had cut, the gas seeped out the hole and upwards. Silent and almost impossible to notice, it quietly slipped into her lungs.
Anya had noticed as she pulled the circle of glass away that the case seemed to be pressurized. However she figured that it was just nitrogen or something like that. Maybe such cases were filled with an inert gas to protect the contents. Her opinion about the harmless nature of the gas changed when she reached in to take hold of the ring. As she began to move her hand through the hole, Anya noticed the case swaying back and forth. Quickly she realized that it wasn't the case but her own head that was doing the swaying. "Aw....shittt..." she gasped, trying to get pull herself away from the case.
Her legs felt like rubber as quickly collapsed to her knees. "I'm....going...to...kill...himmmm...." Anya moaned when her eyes began to droop lower and lower. The floor seemed to get closer as the rest of her body fell to the floor. The ring she had come for rolled across the floor from her limp hand.
