The receptionist was looking at her email when she heard the sound of someone clearing their throat. Looking up she spied a pretty college burnet. The girl wore a white blouse with a demon jacket, a light blue skirt, and finally some opaque pantyhose and sandals. “I have an appointment?” she began. The receptionist quickly switched back to working, “Oh yes can I have your name?” “Mary Batson.” She answered. Finally Mary was allowed to head to the office.

It had been five months since she had discovered her special abilities. She had been having some strange dreams, about flying, lighting, and a red costume. Then one night she had been practicing her gymnastics on the uneven bars. Her fingers had slipped and she had started falling toward the floor. The resulting injury would have crippled her right leg, would have. Without thinking she had shouted one word, Shazam.

That one word threw the young woman’s life out of the norm. She landed hard on her leg, but there was no pain. In fact she felt great, strong, confident, and light like she could fly. Her attire had also changed, into that of Mary Marvel. Since then Mary had fought crime in Greenville and on campus. She was dealing with a lot of emotional baggage thanks to this. So, she decided to confess to someone.

Dr. Melissa Madison was Greenville University’s psychologist. Mary had visited hoping she would have someone to talk to about her newfound abilities. The doc was a great help in sorting through her dreams meanings, dealing with the problems of being a superheroine, and it was nice to have someone she didn’t have to hide anything from. Mary entered the office and saw the doctor sitting at her desk. Like most psychologists, she had a couch a patient could sit on, a variety of books, and a tape recorder. Melissa was a burnet as well with her hair kept in a ponytail. She wore a pair of thin wire glasses which where in the pocket of her black suit jacket. This was draped over her chair which allowed her light blue blouse to seen. “Mary, how have you been?” the doctor said as she got up. Melissa was dressed pretty much like Mary with a skirt and pantyhose, although she had taken off her shoes for comfort. “Great Melissa, I’ve really been enjoying out sessions.” Mary answered taking the doctor’s hand. Melissa flashed her smile, “I’ve been enjoying them as well, how often do you get to help a superheroine?” “Doc…” “I know Mary, relax your secret is still safe with me.” Melissa said as she went for her chair.

Mary put her back pack down and went over to the doctor’s couch. Kicking off her shoes she wiggled her nylon encased toes. Taking a seat she waited for the doctor to pull up her office chair. Once in position they began Mary’s session. “So what would you like to talk about today?” the doctor began. Mary lay down on the couch and crossed her legs on top of each other, “I’m not sure, I’ve been thinking about going to see some of the other heroines.” “Really, I was going to suggest that today.” Melissa said. “Oh? Well I think I should meet at least a few of them. Never know when it could help to have some back up.” Mary concluded. “Oh before we get to into it, how were those fighting classes going?” Melissa inquired. Mary smiled, “I’m at the top of my class. I’ve learned all sorts of ways to take someone down without hurting them, it’s been a big help when I’m taking down bad guys.” She was proud to past that on; it had been another of the doctor’s suggestions. Melissa smiled, quite seductively, Mary thought, “I’m glad, now Mary do you wish to go into you’re latest dream?” “Sure doc, this one has been bugging me…”

Mary began to tell her dream, “I’m Mary Marvel, and I’m fighting someone…can’t tell who. I see flashes of red and blue. There’s a large body of water, then it gets real fuzzy.” Melissa made the usual umhum noises a psychologist makes. After writing a few notes she looked up at Mary, “Mary would you like to see if we could get any deeper into your dream?” “Yeah, I guess we should. Okay let me get ready.” Mary began to relax herself. Melissa moved her chair over to her desk and reached in the bottom drawer. Inside was a small bottle with a white cloth and a crystal attached to a small chain. She removed both items and scooted back over to Mary. Dr. Madison had told Mary about a technique she developed that used drossiness and hypnosis.

Mary looked over at the doctor as she prepared. Melissa took the cloth and poured a small amount of chloroform onto it. With that done she put the cap on the bottle and came close to Mary. “All right Mary, are you ready?” the doctor asked. Mary nodded, “Yes let’s get started.”

Melissa smiled politely and placed the cloth over Mary’s mouth and nose. The young coed breathed in the anesthetic. Her muscles became slightly weaker; she could feel her mind get just a tad cloudy. Melissa hadn’t used enough chloroform to knock out Mary, but it did slow her body down and weaken her. After a minute of exposure to the chloroform, Melissa withdrew the cloth, laying it at her feat. She then took her crystal on the chain.

The doctor began to slowly move the crystal across Mary’s field of vision, “Mary, can you hear me?” “Yes…I can hear…you.” She replied weakened by chloroform. Melissa smiled, everything was working. “Good, now I want you to follow the crystal Mary, follow it with your eyes only.” She said in the voice a mother would use with a child, soft reassuring, “Follow it Mary, as you do you’ll feel sleepy.” Mary’s drugged eyes followed the crystal, which glistened with the light from the doctor’s office. “Don’t fight it Mary, its too powerful just give in. Fall asleep, there’s no point trying to fight it.” The doctor spoke. The young superheroine followed the crystal with her eyes, trusting the doctor who had become her friend. Melissa watched as Mary’s eyes grew weaker, they began to dip slowly, she was almost there. “That’s it, nice, deep sleep Mary.” Mary’s eyes fluttered once and she had one last thought, in fact it was one that occurred every time she had gone into one of these states, Mary, wake up, Mary! Wake up!

The young brunet finally closed her eyes, falling deep into the hypnotic sleep. Melissa took her hand and stroked Mary’s face smiling with the same seductive one she would have every time the young woman fell under her power, “Good girl.”

Melissa picked up the chloroform rag and put a full dose on it just incase she needed it. Then she removed her crystal from its chain. Getting out of her chair she walked quietly to her phone and picked it up, “Hi, Sally I’m not going to need you for the rest of today, why don’t you head home.” This got rid of her receptionist. Melissa then closed the blinds to the office, and walked over to her wall. Removing her diploma after the wall Melissa then revealed the small safe behind it. Doing the combination quickly she opened up the safe to retrieve her ultimate item. It was a gold necklace, pure 24 carrots. There was a spot on the necklace for a large jewel or crystal. Here she placed her special crystal.

Melissa walked back over to the sleeping Mary. Her stocking feet made no noise as she took her seat again. Bringing her chair close again she lightly stroke Mary’s face and hair. With her left hand she felt Mary’s pantyhosed legs. “Mary can you hear me?” the doctor asked. “Yes.” Mary responded no longer suffering from the chloroform. Her voice was one of one of control, not Mary’s usually chipper voice. “Good, now your dream, tell me about it.” Melissa ordered softly. “I’m Mary Marvel, I go to Chicago and fight Supergirl.” Melissa smiled, “Yes you do Mary, you’re going to fight her and win. Then you’re going to bring her to me.”

Melissa Madison was not her real name. She had used many alias this was merely one of them. She did have a background in psychology. Studying it she also drove into the world of hypnotism. Learning more and more about it, Melissa became quite good at it. So how did she use this talent? Simple, she used it for her own ends. Men, women had been seduced and hypnotized into doing her bidding. Mysteria, as she was better known in the law enforcement community had even stolen money from Lex Corp, which was one of the reasons she was laying low.

I guess Natasha was a little pissed I hypnotized her, she thought with glee, but now it was time to get back to business. Taking her job at Greenville University she had hoped to lay low for awhile. Then Mary Batson walked into her office. The foolish young heroine confessed her secrets to Mysteria, and with that she formed a plan. Melissa had recently acquired a strange item from Greece.

It was supposed to have magical powers, and according to Mary her powers were based on Magic. First she had gained a back door into Mary’s mind, and then she even managed to gain access into the mind of Mary Marvel. Although Ms. Marvel fought her more than Mary had, she was still under her control. Her first suggestions had been in the form of dreams to Mary, learning about her powers, how to fight, and now her latest dream.

“Now Mary its time to change, stand up please.” Mysteria asked. Mary stood up still under the villianess’s control. Once on her feet Mysteria looked over once, Mary had a lovely body. Maybe I should have a little fun later, the woman thought. “Now Mary speak you’re word to transform you.”

Mary nodded and said one word, “Shazam.”

With that one word, Mary changed. Out of nowhere a bolt of lighting came from down and struck the young coed. After the mighty flash was gone, there wasn’t any Mary Batson left, but Mary Marvel. Melissa took in the young heroine’s costume.

A skin tight spandex like dress clung to the heroine. It was red with a gold outline on the ends of the skirt, t-shirt sleeves, and neckline. A golden lighting bolt ran down her chest over her breasts. A white cape with gold trimming hung from her neck by a golden rope. Her waist was encircled with golden sash. Finally she wore tan pantyhose with golden slippers that had gold weaving going almost to her knees. Mary Marvel didn’t look completely like Mary Batson. Marvel appeared a year or two older, she had a presence of strength as oppose to Mary’s kindness, and her chest was a little more endowed than Mary’s. She stood with her hands on her hips in a heroine’s powerstance.

Melissa walked around Mary Marvel. She ran her hand along the heroine who was completely in her control, “How are you Mary Marvel?” “Fine.” She answered her voice a signal of Mysteria’s control over her. “Excellent, you are going to go to Chicago and capture Supergirl.” Melissa spoke into the heroine’s ear. “Yes…No…I won’t…” Mary began to fight. “Mary Marvel, now I need you to be focused.” Mysteria placed her necklace around Mary’s neck for a moment. Mary Marvel grunted as the item weakened her will. She sank to her knees for a moment before returning to her pose. Melissa took the necklace off Mary. Brining herself to face Mary Marvel she swung the crystal back and forth across the heroines eyes.

Mary followed the crystal falling back into Mysteria’s power. Melissa smiled and stroked the heroine’s face again, “Much better. Now Mary Marvel here is what you need to know…”

Chicago, IL

The Chicago Tribune was busy as always. Reports from Baghdad, Seoul, Europe, Moscow, the heart land of America all poured in. Dozens of reporters were busy chasing down information or polishing up stories. One of these reporters was sitting at her desk working on her latest front page story.

A series of photos framed the desk one of her parents in Leesburg, another of her and Drew Prince at Metropolis University, finally one of the blonde reporter and Supergirl. Pausing for a second she looked at that photo of the Girl of Steel. She smiled, isn’t great what photoshop can do these days, at least the Star Labs version.

Linda Danvers better know to world as the blonde heroine Supergirl was working at her day job. After graduating from school the young woman had gone to the Windy City and got a job at the city’s famous newspaper. Luckily her excellent relationship with the Maiden of Might got her plenty of good stories for the paper. Linda was wrapping up her latest story on her last adventure.

“So, Danvers, how’s that story on the train derailment going.” Cutter Sharp asked as he came over to Linda’s corner. “Just fine Cutter, it would go even faster if you didn’t bug me about it every five minutes.” She replied. Cutter flashed his award winning smile and leaned over into Linda’s area, “Sorry I’m just distracted by one of the Tribune’s top reporters.” “Now that’s better.” Linda said as she gave him a wink.

“Hey! Danvers, Sharp get over here!” a loud booming voice called. Cutter rolled his eyes, “Oh man, God calls.” “No”, Linda said finishing the last strokes on her article, “God would be more polite.” The two reporters walked over to the Chief’s office. Inside he was pacing back and forth. Linda and Cutter entered, “Good you two need to get down to the Sears Tower now!” “Why Chief?” Cutter asked. He pointed at the television. A helicopter camera was focused on something near the Sears Tower. Linda opened her eyes in shock, a costumed lady was standing on the city’s most famous skyscraper. The Girl of Steel searched her mind, who is that, Drew…no that looks like…Marvel something? Linda remembered she was a new superheroine that had popped up in Greenville. “That’s why, that’s Mary Marvel that new supergal from Greenville. I bet Supergirl is going to show up and I want us there covering it!” the chief explained. He was trying to keep his paper’s place as the second best source of news on Supergirl, behind the Daily Planet (Which drove him nuts).

“Chief I’ll head for the tower, have Linda hang out here.” Cutter said trying to get in prime position to get a scoop. “Chief let me…” Linda didn’t get to finish. “Danvers, Cutter goes to the tower. You’re going to track down Supergirl, I want to know the inside story here!” Linda silently prayed thanks for the chief ordering her to find herself. The reporters broke off.

While Cutter ran to grab a cab, Linda headed for the roof. Disappearing up a stairwell she began to slip out of her clothes. Off went her suit jacket and blouse, this revealed the top of her blue leotard. A red and yellow S on her chest let everyone know who she was. Lifting herself off the stairs she began floating up to the roof. Her feet free of the stairs let slip out of her skirt, showing off the much shorter red one underneath it. Finally her red boots were slipped on her pantyhosed feet. The blonde hair came down and fell onto her shoulders and part of her back, and the glasses freed the blue eyes from their cover.

Supergirl appeared on top of the building. She hide her clothes under a special roof accessory and took to the sky with an arm outstretched. Linda loved the feel of the slipstream around her as she headed for the city’s landmark looking for the new arrival in town.

Supergirl cruised over the skyline heading for the city’s largest building. On the roof, standing between the two TV antennas was Mary Marvel. The winds were blowing her brown hair around and she was scanning the skies for the Girl of Steel. Her excellent vision picked out the fast moving blue dot that closed on her.

Linda brought herself down for a landing in front of the other superheroine. They both stood with their hands on their hips and exhibited confidence. Supergirl hadn’t met the new heroine since her appearance a few months ago, maybe that’s what this was about. “Hi, Mary Marvel I assume?” she began. “Yes.” Okay, Linda thought, she doesn’t talk much. “Well I’m here do you need something or want to talk?” “I do need something, you.” With that she hit Supergirl with a superfast right. Linda went flying off the building and towards Lake Michigan. Her jaw hurt like hell, what was in that punch. Mary flew off the building and after her programmed target. Once over the lake she planned on finishing off Supergirl, but couldn’t find her. Mary Marvel turned her head left and right looking for Linda.

She found her, right before the Maiden of Might drove her boots into Mary’s back. Linda then grabbed the World’s Mightiest Girl by her cape, spinning at superspeed she tossed the woman towards the Michigan peninsula. Supergirl followed Mary till the girl landed in the middle of some woods. At least we’re not near the city, Supergirl thought with satisfaction.

“All right Ms. Marvel, I don’t know what the hell your problem is but this fight stops here.” Supergirl said. Mary Marvel got up and looked at Supergirl, “Okay Supergirl you’re right I need help.” Linda softened her expression, “That’s all right, now what do you need help with?” Supergirl walked up to the heroine. Mary looked down at the ground then smiled. She quickly grabbed Supergirl and squeezed with all her strength. Linda screamed it felt like someone was crushing her organs. “Ahhh!!! MARY STOP!!!!! WHY!!!” Supergirl screamed while trying to get her strength into play. She tried moving her arms, kicking with her legs, nothing broke the young woman’s grip. “What’s the matter Supergirl? Can’t break free, not use to someone matching you’re strength?” Mary jibbed, she increased her strength. Linda whimpered, something wasn’t right she shouldn’t be this vulnerable to Mary Marvel, even if she was superpowered. “Wondering why you’re in so much pain? What’s a kryptonains three weakness eh Supergirl? Kryptonite, Red Sun, and magic.”

Supergirl felt like she had been hit in the gut, her pain racked face looked down at Mary Marvel who just smiled, “That’s right Supergirl my powers are all based on magic.” The burnet then threw a weakened Linda into the dirt. Supergirl gripped her sides taking ragged breaths, “Why…what…did…I…” “Do Supergirl? Can’t be two supergirls in the country.” Mary said as she walked over to Linda. Using her foot to shove Supergirl to the ground, she then sat on top of Linda, using her legs to pin the Girl of Steel. Reaching forwards she wrapped her arms around Supergirl’s head in a sleeper hold.

Linda took her arms and tried to rip Mary’s from her neck. The combination of the girl’s magic based powers and strength didn’t let Linda bulge Mary’s arms. She could feel light headed, she was blacking out needed to do something fast.

Her arms gripped Mary’s but the fiery burnet continued her hold on the Girl of Steel. Linda could feel her body growing weaker from the hold. Soon she’d be knocked out and helpless, fat chance, she thought. Supergirl tried to think a way out of this, can’t get her arms off me, so… Mary Marvel was use to flight, yet she was use to her starting it. Supergirl flew forwards and Mary had enough time to see the tree that hit her.

Linda was relieved to be free from the iron grip around her neck. Her attacker was still stunned, so Supergirl pressed her advantage. Two quick punches landed into Mary’s stomach. She then lifted the heroine turn evil up and threw her into another clump of trees. They shattered against her invulnerable body, but it stunned Mary. Supergirl flew over and put Mary into her own floating bearhug, squeezing with all her solar enhanced strength.

Linda gave Mary all she had then paused, “All right, once again Mary why are you trying to hurt me?” No answer, “Fine.” She squeezed again hoping to knock Mary out. Then she would take the heroine to see Wonder Woman, hopefully the lasso of truth would get her some answers. Mary had other ideas; she quickly hit Supergirl in the head with her own. It caused Linda to have a moment of distraction, loosing her grip. That was all Mary needed, she gripped Supergirl’s arms and ripped them from her sides. Using her pantyhosed legs she kicked the Maiden of Might repeatedly. Linda went flying to ground. Landing on her back she couldn’t move for a second. By time she was ready, Mary was coming down. Her golden slippers connected with the red and yellow S on Linda’s chest.

The impact drove her into the ground. Supergirl felt her costume while clutching her chest. Mary landed next to the weakened Supergirl. Bringing herself down to the heroine’s level, The World’s Mightiest Girl placed Supergirl’s head in between her thighs. Linda could feel the nylon of her foes legs, then the pressure of her thighs as Mary put all her strength into the scissors hold. She struggled but it was no use. “Come one Supergirl, just relax, you’ll be out soon.” Mary smiled as she spoke. The burnet then ran her hand along Supergirl’s face. Linda said a very un-lady like word, but her foe was right.

The bearhug, punches and kicks, and now the legs cutting off the blood to her brain, it was too much. Linda tried to say awake…but it was too hard. She remembered Mary’s face smiling down at her as she passed out.

Mary released Supergirl who now slept peacefully. She ran a hand down the koed kryptonian’s costume. She decided that Supergirl wasn’t going to be moving anytime soon. So she took off, and returned about five minutes later. Supergirl began to stir but a quick series of hard punches across the face ended that. Mary dropped what she had been holding, chains.

With great concentration she energized each of the chains with her powers; they would glow faintly for a few seconds, and then return to normal. Mary then sat Supergirl up and began to bind her with the steel. Soon Linda was bound with the majority of the chains around her upper body with her arms bound in front of her. Some chains then were used on her ankles. Admiring her handiwork Mary Marvel reached to pick up the defeated heroine only to stop halfway, MARY STOP!!!! FIGHT IT!!!! The young woman shook those thoughts out of her head and lifted the girl of steel into her arms and took flight.

Dr. Melissa was now in the guise as her costume alter ego. Removing the skirt and blouse, Mysteria was now clad in her black catsuit. It covered her from her neck to her feet. The final piece of her of outfit a black mask the covered her eyes was placed on her face. Smiling she looked herself up and down in the mirror.

A fluttering whooshing sound signaled the latest arrival. Smiling, she turned around and walked out of her little personal room. This caused Mysteria to enter the open area of her apartment she had rented. Standing inside was Mary Marvel, with a koed Supergirl in her arms. “Mary, excellent you’ve done me proud.” Mysteria said as she walked up to the slumbering Supergirl. Running a hand around Supergirl’s face this caused the blonde to wake up. Linda blinked her eyes and could feel cold chains around her body. She could also feel the heat from someone’s body. Looking up she could see Mary Marvel’s face. For the first time Supergirl noticed the blank stair on it. Turning her head again she saw a woman clad in black spandex. “Well, look who’s awake.” Mysteria spoke. “Yeah and ready to kick people’s asses.” Supergirl sneered as she flexed her arms. She would have normally snapped the chains with ease, but the metal didn’t bulge. A laugh caused Linda to look over at the catsuit wearing woman with anger in her eyes. “Miss Marvel here is powered by magic; I suggested to her that she give your chains a little charge. Now you’re as helpless as if I had a chunk of kryptonite.” The woman smiled.

Mary dropped Supergirl on the couch. Linda struggled again and found little she could do to even bulge the chains. Her captor walked over to Mary Marvel and began to run her hands over various parts of the heroine’s costume. “So, to whom do I owe the pleasure?” Supergirl asked. Mysteria looked down at Supergirl, “Mysteria, perhaps you’ve heard of me?” “Yeah I heard the name, although you’ve seemed to do a better job pissing off your brothers and sisters in crime.” Linda replied. The villainess walked over and kneeled down to touch Supergirl. As her hand came out though, she felt it get very hot. Mysteria stared at Supergirl only to see her eyes had turned bright red. “Watch where you put that hand, might burn it off.” Mysteria smiled with drawing her hand, “But of course. Mary, bring me my bag please.” Mary walked over and grabbed a black bag that rested on a counter in the apartment’s kitchen. Watching Mary’s lack of reaction, Supergirl came to a conclusion.

“So, you hypnotized her?” Mysteria shot her head up, Supergirl was smart. “I did, Supergirl. Poor Mary, finding out about her powers was so distributing. She needed someone to talk to, who better than the school shrink? The villain explained. “You betrayed her, and then used Mary to get me, what for?” Linda said next. “Soon you’ll be my personal cash card Supergirl. No one will be able to stop you, and you’ll have backup in the form of Mary Marvel, as well as other services, eliminating opposition, your pesky superheroine friends.” “Fat chance, Ivy tried this if you haven’t heard. I’m a little immune to hypotonic suggestions.” Linda smirked. “Not after this, Mary?” Mary handed Mysteria the black bag. Reaching inside, Mysteria removed her golden amulet. “This necklace will weaken your will with magic. Once you’re docile enough, I’ll give you a taste of my hypnotic persuasion.” With controlled glee, she placed the gold around Supergirl’s neck. Linda felt as if her mind was on overdrive. Powers, her body felt fine, but her mind was in pain. She gritted her teeth and shook her head to try and shake the pain out of it.

Mary Marvel watched from her spot behind Mysteria. Again her mind screamed at her, MARY STOP THIS, FIGHT THIS!!!!!!!!!!! She began to shake her head. Grunting slightly she place a hand on her head. This caused Mysteria to take her eyes off Supergirl. Damn, she’s fighting it again I need the necklace on Supergirl! The villain thought, oh well plan B. Reaching into her bag she pulled out her chloroform bottle. Walking up to Mary she placed her fingers on the burnet’s temples. “Relax Mary, why don’t you change back into your depowered self?” she suggested. What little control Mysteria had over Mary Marvel was enough to get the heroine to speak her magic word.

While the heroine did this, Mysteria retreated into her room. After saying the magic word and being transformed back into Mary Batson. She woke up in, someone’s apartment? Mary looked around; last thing she remembered was being in Melissa’s office. She was still in her blouse, skirt and hose, except there was one Supergirl on the sofa in front of her. “Supergirl? What is going on?” she asked looking down at the bound heroine. Linda managed to get a thought out of the pain that was her brain, she doesn’t remember a thing? “Relax Mary.” Mary turned to see her doctor standing behind her, although she was clad in black. “Melissa, why are you wearing that?” she asked still not getting it. Mysteria walked up, something behind her back, “Don’t worry Mary, you’ll be feeling right again in a few minutes.”

Mysteria shoved a pair of pantyhose into Mary’s face. Soaked in chloroform, Mary recognized the smell, but never had Melissa used that much on her. The doctor grabbed Mary’s body and spun it so she could use one arm to hold Mary’s body and arms in place while keeping the hose over her face. She struggled but it was no use, she began to feel the drossy effect of the drug. Her muscles grew weak; she couldn’t keep her eyes open.

Mysteria lowered her to the floor. Removing the hose from Mary’s face she then tied the hose around the girl’s head, gagging her. Mysteria looked at Supergirl, “I need your necklace to hypnotize her again, and so I’ll just finish with you first then put Mary back under my control.”

Mary’s final bondage came from some rope Mysteria had. Tying the girl’s hands behind her back, and then binding her ankles, Mary was secured. Mysteria patted Mary’s head then left for her bedroom, leaving the two heroines to struggle in her living room.

Supergirl could only look on with frustration; she tried her heat vision on the chains. Linda could make them glow, but not break them. They were in trouble.

Supergirl was helpless as long as she was bound with these magical chains. Can’t break them, can’t burn ‘em! Her mind was growing weaker from the magical necklace around her neck. She looked over to look at the unconscious Mary, and then it hit her. Mary wasn’t affected by magic…Linda focused her eyes; she needed all her concentration to pull off what she was planning. Twin heat streams admitted out of her eyes, and luckily they hit what she was aiming for.

The pantyhose gag began to split. Careful not to hurt the sleeping Mary, she cut the pantyhose gag out. Linda smiled, now all she needed was…AHHH!!!! Her mind had a sharp pain and then blackness.

Mary shook her head; she could feel warmth on her lips and the side of her face. Then she tasted nylon, spitting she opened her eyes. She was lying on the floor; Mary looked around trying to see where she was. Then it all came back to her, all of it. The magic powers she possessed cleared out Mysteria’s hypnotizing and its memory blocking power. Ohh god! I captured Supergirl for Mysteria! She thought.

The bound coed could see Supergirl, still chained on the couch but now asleep, was in front of her. Pulling on her bonds she found they wouldn’t give away. There was a way to fix that. “Shazam!” she said. A burst of lighting came down from the ceiling and struck her. Now clad in her spandex red dress with the Marvel lighting bolt across the chest. Her strength easily freed her. Walking over to Supergirl she grabbed each of the chains and snapped them easily. Mary Marvel also saw the necklace on Supergirl. Carefully she grabbed the golden necklace and lifted off Supergirl, when she touched it sent the same pain, numbing sensation filled her mind. Once it was removed from The Girl of Steel’s neck she tossed it to the other side of the room.

Supergirl stirred slightly, Mary was going to try and shake her awake when she felt a cloth clamped over her face. Mysteria was behind her trying to take her down with the chloroform. “Come on Mary Marvel, breath it in.” Except Mysteria wasn’t rewarded with the struggles of a weakening heroine, Mary easily removed the cloth. Melissa looked on with shock. “Well doctor, I guess you didn’t know I’m immune to your charms now. Let’s see if it works the other way around.” Mary said as she clamped the cloth over Mysteria’s face. The villainess struggled in her black catsuit, but it was useless as Mary’s arm clamped around her waist. Mysteria grew weaker and she fell into a chloro induced sleep. Mary then tied the cloth to the villainess’s face with the broken pantyhose and bound her with the rope as well. Admiring her handwork, Mary heard a voice behind her.

“Glad to see you have everything in order.” Mary turned her head to see Supergirl sitting up. “Supergirl, I’m so sorry for all this. I was stupid.” Mary said turning away from the Girl of Steel. The World’s Mightiest Girl felt a hand on her shoulder, looking at it she saw Supergirl. “No Mary you weren’t stupid. She is the one that took advantage of you. Besides I can relate to learning you’re different from everyone else. So let’s say we drop her off at the local station and get something to eat?” Linda asked. Mary smiled, maybe she should try this again, “Okay.”

Hours later…

“So this is a piece of evidence?” the cop asked the detective. He nodded; she checked off the appropriate boxes on the form and watched the detective walk away. The evidence officer went back to her paperwork. Soon enough she’d place the artifact in the Mysteria evidence bag. Right now though she was consumed with her paper work, so she didn’t notice the gentlemen entering the evidence storage room, he approached her desk quietly and came to a stop in front of it.

“Hello Officer…Miles.” He said in a gentlemanly voice. Jane Miles looked up. A handsome man in his twenties was on the other side of her desk. Quickly she brushed her hair into a more impressive pattern. “Hi can I help you with something?” she asked trying to sound as attractive as possible. He looked right at her with a smile and gleam in his eye. Jane’s eyes blinked a few then glazed over slightly. “Jane I need that necklace there.” He pointed. She picked it up and handed the golden charm to the man. He smiled again, “Thank you Ms. Miles, you won’t remember anything in a few minutes”, he kissed her on the lips, “Now just relax.”

Jane Miles stood behind her counter as the man walked away, necklace in his pocket. Reaching into his other pocket he removed a device which at first glance looked like a cell phone, at first glance. “Yes.” He spoke, “Commander I have the device. I will be back shortly.” “Very good, team two has finished their mining of the asteroid, we will be ready shortly.” The man smiled as he left the Police Station, “Glory to Callisauru Commander.” “Yes glory.”

The End????
