The chest pain hit hard and fast. Clutching his chest and feeling the pain spread to his arm, the subway train operator tried to reach for the throttle. As he was about to bring the fast moving train to a stop, he collapsed. This caused his body to fall forwards onto the controls, speeding the train up. Startled commuters looked forwards to the front of the subway car wondering why it wasn’t slowing for the station. A businesswoman screamed she could see the collapsed man at the controls. People began to panic. A CPA tried to force the door open to get at the controls but he couldn’t bulge the door.

To the surprise of many on the waiting station, the 5:05 train passed by without stopping and with a whoosh disappeared further down the tunnel. All the people at the station looked down the subway tunnel following the train. One girl however ran for the stairs.

Three men were now trying to get the door open to stop the train. One, a police officer was being riddled with questions, “JUST SHOOT IT OFF!” “I can’t, I’ll hit him!” he answered. They continued to keep working at the door when the same woman who noticed the calamity, saw its solution, “Look!”

Everyone turned their heads forward to see. Supergirl flew at the oncoming train; she landed twenty feet in front of the out of control metro. Placing both her boots on the twin rails, she held her hands out. Train and superheroine collided.

The Maiden of Might put all her strength into stopping the subway train. Even though she was incredibly strong, Supergirl was being shoved backward against the train. Her boots kicked up smoke and sparks against the rails. Come on slow down!, she thought. The Girl of Steel knew she had little time; the 5:00 was just stopping at the coming station. If the two trains collided…she renewed her efforts to slow the train. Her hands dug into the steel that formed the front of the train.

Linda grunted, she was slowing the subway car but not fast enough. A quick peek over her shoulder showed the tail end of the next subway train. Supergirl wasn’t going to slow the train in time. It seemed hopeless, and then it hit her…flight. Supergirl put her flight power into the effort. While not taking off, the counter propulsion put more of her momentum on the train. With a series of groans and hisses the train finally came to a stop. Supergirl let go of the train, she had five feet left. Quickly she entered the train and ripped the door to the controls off. The operator got his first aid needed and she accepted the cheers and thank yous from the riders, with that she took off.

Supergirl aka Linda Danvers had been coming back from the Metropolis’s library. She was going to take the train the rest of the way back to school…well I guess I’m flying now. The view over the city was excellent as always. Twilight was coming fast, and the first few stars could be seen. The Girl of Steel decided to take her time going back. Floating on her back she stared skywards and admired the view. Her calm flight was interrupted though. In her ears she could hear the sound of a silent alarm. Damn, she thought, oh well have to save sight seeing for another time. Extending an arm forwards she flew towards the sound of the alarm.

Hovering a few feet above the Metropolis Museum of Natural History, Supergirl scanned the building with her X-ray vision. Peering through the layers of the building she spotted her robbers. Inside of the rare plants exhibit, there were two women, wearing green leotards and light green tights without any foot ware. Well time to crash the party, she smiled.

The two girls were taking various plants as ordered by their boss. Rose and Tulip were interrupted by the sound of breaking glass. Looking up they watched as the guardian angel of Metropolis descended in between them, “My, aren’t we up late for gymnastics?” Rose who had bright red hair turned, “Supergirl!” “Correct, now drop your bags and save me the trouble…” Supergirl didn’t finish she had to dodge a cross bow flying in her direction. Turning, Linda saw it was aimed by the other girl, Tulip who had purple hair. With a burst of superspeed Supergirl disarmed Tulip and knocked her out with a punch.

While stopped Rose ran up and jumped onto Supergirl’s back. Wrapping her tights covered legs around Linda’s waist; she also tried applying a sleeperhold as well. Rose grunted as she struggled to take down the Maiden of Might. After a minute Supergirl yawned, “Ohh…you done yet?” Linda grabbed the girl by her tights she opened up her legs which left the girl hanging from Supergirl’s neck. Then the Girl of Steel undid her arms. Linda turned and faced Rose, giving her a little kick in the abs. This caused Rose to double over in pain. Supergirl admired her handiwork when she heard the voice of the third person.

“Long time no see eh Supergirl?” Linda recognized the voice. “Yes it has been a while Ivy.” Supergirl answered placing her hands on her hips. Poison Ivy, the plant mistress from Gotham City and Supergirl had run into her before. Ivy looked harmless in her green sleeveless halter leotard and lighter green tights decorated with an ivy pattern. Like her henchwomen, Ivy wasn’t wearing any shoes. The villainess kept her distance from the superheroine as did Supergirl. “I see you got out of prison.” Linda said. Ivy chuckled, “Isn’t lovely what defense attorneys can do for you these days.” Supergirl finished her scan of the room, no kryptonite, superpowered villains, magic potions or what ever else could harm her. Unless Ivy was planning to give her another kryptonite frencher, she could take the bitch.

“Well Ivy you’re going to need another one pretty soon.” Supergirl began to speed up at Ivy only to stop half way. Her superspeed burst turned into a normal run. Linda then felt a familiar pain coming on. Nausea began to grip her and she stumbled forwards. Supergirl felt weaker, and of course only one thing did it this way, “Kryptonite…” Poison Ivy closed towards the weakening Supergirl. Linda sank to hands and knees trying to keep focused. Ivy smiled, everything was going as planed, “Pretty surprised Supergirl?”

“Where…did…you…” Supergirl struggled to speak. Poison Ivy got closer to Supergirl which made the Girl of Steel’s arms give out. She slumped to the ground, the pain was excruciating, like someone was twisting her insides. Ivy smiled smugly, kneeling next to Supergirl, “Oh Supergirl, I paid a little visit to a friend of yours in prison. We talked, shared notes and she told me about an interesting way to use kryptonite.”

Linda focused her eyes on Ivy. Looking at her legs she saw the Ivy pattern on the light green tights glowing slightly. Kryptonite tights…great…not again, she thought. Poison Ivy laughed when she the recognition on Supergirl’s face. Standing back up, Ivy used her foot to roll Supergirl on her back. Supergirl looked up at Ivy with her blue eyes. It pleased her to see anger and fear there.

Ivy sat down on her behind and brought her knees up to her chest. Supergirl stared at the villainess’s long legs, “Ivy…you’re…killing me…” Poison Ivy smiled again. She grabbed Supergirl’s hand, and ran it down her leg. Linda screamed as her hand burned from touching the poisonous tights. Ivy dropped the helpless heroine’s hand, “No Supergirl, I’m not going to kill you, Rose.” Supergirl turned to see Rose standing next to Ivy. The henchwoman had a white cloth in her hand. Poison Ivy nodded, Rose kneeled next to Supergirl, “Sleep tight.”

Clamping the white cloth to her face, Rose made sure Supergirl was forced to breath in the chloroform. Linda held her breath at first, but Ivy ensured a breath by once again running Supergirl’s hand down her tights. A muffled scream came from under the cloth. Rose watched with glee as Supergirl’s eye lids began to flutter. The atheistic entered her lungs, she couldn’t fight it. Between the pain and drug she welcomed the coming unconsciousness. The villians looked on as Supergirl went out.

“Babs….Babs?” a young man asked snapping his fingers. Barbra Gordon shook her head waking herself out the day dream she was having. With a sigh she saw her report on the Henson Murder wasn’t finished, it was still incomplete on her laptop. Detective Robert Murray was her partner had shook her into the real world. Both were the youngest detectives in the 51st Prescient in Gotham. “Sorry Bob, I spaced out there.” She was going to continue typing it up when Bob put a hand on her’s, “Oh no Gordon, you can leave that for later. Come one let’s get a bite to eat.” Barbra looked at the report and then back on her partner. Computer, partner, computer partner…partner, she thought saving the item and closing up the laptop. Barbra was wearing a simple black suit coat, white blouse, matching skirt, tan hose and simple flats. Her brown hair falling on her shoulders she was the best looking detective in the room. Her partner appericated her looks but had yet to act on them for professional reasons, although he didn’t mind the lunches and dinners with Babs.

She walked out of the elevator remembering the dinner and the fun she had. Unlocking her apartment Barbra stepped in and kicked off her shoes. Wiggling her toes in the nylons she headed over to her answering machine. Two messages were telemarketers and the other from her father. Since getting a job at the GPD her dad, its boss, was determined to make sure she got treated no better or worse. Babs like it sometimes but other times her dad was bit overprotective. The last message got her really thinking.

“Barbra its Bruce, just letting you know I’m going to be out of town for a while. I have heard rumblings Pamela is back in town. Damn attorneys, she’s out so keep an eye out for her.” The machine clicked off. Barbra replayed the message another time, just to make sure she got all the relevant info. Hmm so Ivy’s back…the woman pondered. Barbra headed for her closet. Like any other woman’s it was filled with dresses, shirts, skirts, shoes and all other items of ladies clothing. Unlike other girls, hers had a secret compartment.

Flipping it open with her palm print it revealed a black costume with a yellow bat symbol on it, and equipment. Barbra Gordon was Gothman’s dark angel, Batgirl. Pulling the spandex lyrca costume out she placed it on the bed and got her utility belt and gadgets out. She hadn’t plan on going out tonight but Bruce’s message made her want to. If Ivy pulled anything she wanted to be able to respond, especially with her friend out of town. Babs stripped out of her clothing and stood in her underwear.

She then pulled the black garment over her body. The skintight outfit hugged all her curves and Babs looked quite sexy in it. Zipping up the back she pulled her boots out. More spandex then leather, they were stronger than normal because they had been reinforced. So when climbing around buildings she could grip things with her feet if needed. Next she put her cape on, black on the back and yellow on the inside. It went down to her waist which now had her belt of tricks attached. Last her mask came on. This hid her hair except where it came out of the neckline. Barbra was now Batgirl.

Darkness had descended to the city so it was the right time to head out. Opening her balcony window she used a grappling hook to shoot her way across the street to the parking garage. Once inside she headed for what looked like a wall. Hitting a special button on her belt the wall slid up revealing a sleek black motorcycle. Mounting it she speeded out of the Wayne Parking Garage and headed towards Gotham’s typical lowlife area.

Larry Gills was locking up his shop and heading for his car. Situated in one of the not so livable parts of Gotham he made sure he walked quickly to his car. Criminals have no problem robbing or killing other criminals. Gills was a snitch plain and simple. He had his fingers in so many illegal cookie jars it was unprofitable to not sell the info to the GPD, FBI and ATF. Plus, he also provided info to some of the unofficial enforces in the city. Gill almost had his car door unlocked when…

“Larry, we need to talk.” He jumped at least two feet in the air. How do they always sneak up on him, the snitch pondered turning around. Babs grabbed him by his shirt collar and pulled him into an alley. “Okay…okay! Geez do you bats ever knock.” He complained fixing his shirt. Batgirl rolled her eyes, “No, now I need a little info.” “You and the Feds, I should charge more, what do you need to know.” “Ivy’s back in town, doing what?” she asked. “How am I suppose to know?” the snitch said innocently and sarcastically at the same time. Batgirl may not be fast through any special powers, but she is still quick for a lady. Which is how Larry ended up with his arm twisted behind his back and face against the brick of the building, “Larry, please don’t make me twist your arm again…” “Really I…” she gave him a little pinch at the proper pressure point, “Okay! Ow! That hurts…all I know is she moved into those old greenhouses in the park yesterday.” She touched another pressure point on his arm, “Damn it! That hurts stop…Okay she also bought all this lab equipment from this guy I used…I mean a friend of mine….” “Larry…what equipment.” Barbra could care less about what he’d done in the past. “I don’t know just some lab equipment. I really don’t know okay!” he closed his eyes expecting another stab of pain from his arm, none came. He turned around and saw that the alleyway was empty, “You’re welcome.”

Barbra placed her helmet back on her head and gave the bike a kick to start the motor. Once again she was on the move. So Ivy bought a bunch of equipment, for what? Batgirl knew Ivy had done experiments before so she might just be getting set up again. Then again, she thought, Ivy is the kind of gal who has that stuff ready before hand…maybe she’s onto something new.

Batgirl brought her thoughts back to the real world and eased the bike into the park going down a path meant for bikes and joggers. A short while later, she was parking the bike in some bushes in near the greenhouses, Barbra satisfied with her camouflage job head towards the abanded greenhouses. Batgirl could see that the greenhouses were typical kind, not like the huge domed one in Metropolis. Some trees had extended their branches over the complex. She decided that was as good a recon spot as any.

Years of gymnastics paid off as Batgirl easily flipped up into the tree. Her black costume had allowed her to blend into the darkness of the trees. Although the glass was dirty and grimy she could still see through it. Sure enough, Ivy was below her making the final adjustments to her lab. A mix of brand new machines and some worn ones were gathering around a table. It looked like a medical table to Barbra. The green villainess was checking on equipment and making adjustments to the controls. Next another woman clad in green came in and began to have a conversation with Ivy.

Batgirl wanted to hear the conversation so she pulled her mini directional microphone out of her belt. Placing the ear piece in, she then took the tiny amplifier and put it on her finger. Pointing down at Ivy she could now hear the conversation.

“So how is she doing?” Ivy asked the henchwoman. “Sick as a dog but still alive. Should I switch to the low grade hose or keep the strong stuff near her?” Ivy put a finger on her chin in thought, “No, I’ll wear the low grade, that way she will be too weak to fight the initial part of the experiment.”

Batgirl couldn’t figure out what they were talking about. ‘Low grade hose’? Babs listened in as the henchlady made her exit. Ivy then began to slip out of her leotard and tights. At first the young crime fighter didn’t get it. Poison Ivy in her Victoria Secret undies went over to a black box that was in the corner in of the lab. Opening Ivy revealed a green pair of tights. The villainess slipped them on enjoying it or so the mummers of pleasure coming through the microphone suggested.

She was back in full costume when a new henchgirl arrived. This one with purple hair nodded to Ivy. The villainess smiled, “Bring her in Rose.”

Batgirl looked to were the purple haired girl walked out. Their came the first henchwoman she had seen, the badgirl was supporting someone in a walk. Barbra’s eyes widened in fear, it was only thanks to her training that she didn’t scream it, only whispered, “Ivy’s got Supergirl…”

Rose had to drag her to the room. Linda’s feet dragged along the floor, her arm was draped over the henchwoman’s shoulder. Supergirl was weak as a kitten. Her two day on and off exposure to kryptonite had made her even weaker than she would have been without superpowers. Either Rose or Tulip would stay close to her cell or chair Linda happened to be tied to at that moment wearing the kryptonite hose.

Also she had spent the majority of that time out cold. From the kryptonite or chloroform, so it wasn’t until that day she had realized she was in Gotham. She still didn’t know what Ivy had planned. Any number of times, Ivy could have finished her off. The museum, the move to Gotham, just a little time spent at close proximity with the deadly tights would have done it. So, why hadn’t she?

Supergirl managed to lift her head enough to look around the room. It was filled with medical equipment and a computer or two. Ivy stood off to the side near a box. Tulip was giving Supergirl a sly smile but keeping her distance. She had on the kryptonite this time not Ivy or Rose. In fact she was so far away for the first time Linda could feel better. Of course with her current luck as soon as she was brought closer to Ivy she felt weak again. So there are two pairs of kryptonite, one stronger one weaker, she thought.

“How are we feeling today Supergirl?” Poison Ivy smirked. “Want to find out…take off those tights…give me ten minutes and then you’ll know.” Supergirl replied with effort. Ivy walked over and cupped Supergirl’s chin in her hand. Her green eyes looked right into Linda’s blues, “I don’t think so Supes, Rose if you would lay her on the table.”

Rose deposited Supergirl on the table. The villainess then adjusted the heroine’s legs so they were on the table as well. Linda tried to get up only to be pushed back down by Ivy. She was powerless as Ivy and Rose began to strap down her legs and arms with medical restraints. It seemed hopeless, unless someone…Linda focused her remaining power on a quick blast of X-ray vision. Above the greenhouse she could spy a woman clad in black. If it was who she thought it was, Batgirl…never met her before, got to try and get her attention. Linda realized though it wasn’t needed, Batgirl seemed to know her plight and was paying attention. The powerless Maiden of Might would do her best to by Batgirl time to get in here, “Well…mind telling me why…you went to…all this trouble…”

Poison Ivy walked over to where Supergirl could see her face. Even though she was powerless, strapped down and at her mercy, Ivy could not but be impressed by the defiance the young heroine was giving. Well, the villainess decided, I guess she should know her fate.

“Supergirl, you really want to know? Okay I’ll tell ya. I’m planning on draining you of your powers.” The Girl of Steel was unimpressed, “Ivy…please…could…you be more cliché?” “Oh no Supergirl, this isn’t a simple swap, I’m going to drain you clean. When I’m done you aren’t going to have any superpowers.” The plant villainess went over to a piece of equipment near Supergirl’s legs. Pushing it over so it could be over Supergirl, Linda saw the end had some sort of projection device on the end.

“This is a laser Supergirl. Powered by a very special source, when it’s done your powers will be transferred to a storage battery available for my or anyone’s use.” Ivy smiled, Supergirl still wasn’t impressed. Doing her best ‘I’m real scared’ face Linda replied, “Oh no…please Ivy how can you just steal my powers?” Poison Ivy brought her face real close to Supergirl’s, “Watch.”

The villainess nodded to Rose who flipped the last few switches on a machine connected to the wall of the greenhouse. The three villains quickly left the room.

As soon as the kryptonite tights worn by Tulip and Ivy Linda felt her powers returning, she was getting stronger. Supergirl smiled, those idiots whatever Ivy has planning isn’t going to work. She began to pull her arms forward, which caused the leather straps holding her down to snap. Sitting up she was about to heat vision her legs free when there was a humming sound.

Supergirl was going to do something when the projector came alive. A gold laser lanced out and struck Supergirl in the chest. As if Ivy wanted it the beam hit her in the red and yellow S symbol. Linda felt the air leave her lungs, a numbing feeling swept down her body. Panting for air she fell back on the table. The energy from the laser sapped her newfound powers. To Supergirl it felt like the laser was going through her and into the table behind her. In a sense it was.

Lying on the special radiation absorbing mat which sent the gathered energy through a set of cables to some batteries, Supergirl was being drained of her powers. After five minutes of exposure the beam turned off. Linda tried to keep her eyes open…she couldn’t. Ivy and her henchwomen returned.

Supergirl laid on the table, out cold, “Take her back to her cell, don’t worry about using the kryptonite, she’s powerless.” As if to emphasize the point Ivy used her fingernail to make a small cut on the heroine’s hand. The Girl of Steel was cut by a normal fingernail.

Still watching in her hiding spot, Batgirl couldn’t believe what she just saw or heard. Ivy had drained Supergirl’s powers. If she gave them to herself or some other villain, Batgirl shuttered at that thought, the memories of the news clips of Solar Flare and Satan Girl fresh in her head.

Jumping from her spot back to the ground she removed her directional mike and began searching for a way into the hideout.

Batgirl quickly formed a plan in her mind. First things first, she would KO the two henchwomen. After that she will deal with Ivy and beat out of her how to fix what ever she had done to Super girl.

Sneaking quietly up to the greenhouse she reached her entry point a door located on the far side of the complex. Out of her utility belt she acquired her lock pick. Placing the tool into the door knob she push inwards, which override the lock. Carefully she opened the door, coast is clear, she thought. Batgirl’s costume blends her in to darkness of these outer rooms. Silently she made her way over to the cell.

Barbra looks in and sees Supergirl’s cell. It was a simple room, a bed, and a chair. The door had been taken off a replaced with a heavy metal bared door. Batgirl wouldn’t be surprised to see the door in a prison. It depressed her to see the world’s mightiest superheroine laying out cold on the bed. Supposedly Ivy had somehow robbed Supergirl of her powers, she hoped that was a lie on Ivy’s part or reversible.

It was then Barbra ran into the first henchwoman. She recognized her as Tulip. The purpled haired and green leotard covered villain was shocked to see Gotham’s dark angel. Before Tulip could get a yell out, Barbra connected her leg with the girl’s head. Tulip fell backwards and landed hard on the floor. Batgirl was on top of the woman seconds after that. Clamping one of her hands covered in a yellow lyrca glove over Tulip’s mouth she sclienced the henchwoman. Then using her right she reached for a certain point on Tulip’s neck. Finding the spot, Barbra smiled and sent the girl into dream land. The pinch caused her victim to cease struggling.

She was quick to move the villain out of site. Laying her on the ground, Batgirl didn’t bother to bind Tulip, she would be out for an hour. Barbra continued her search of the hide out. Entering the lab area she could see neither Ivy nor Rose. Quickly she looked over the equipment. It hummed so she assumed it was charged, with Supergirl’s powers. She shouldn’t have spent so much time looking over the machine.

Sneaking up behind Batgirl was Rose. Her green footed tights allowed her to sneak up on Batgirl without making a noise. With a sly villain’s smiled she had picked up from Ivy, she tapped Batgirl on the shoulder. The heroine turned ready to fight. “Night, night!” Rose chuckled. She sprayed the dark angel in the face. The spray caused Batgirl to cough. Instinctively she punched Rose in the chest. This caused Rose to double over and Batgirl gave her kick to get her fully out of the way. Barbra began to run only to feel weak. Her legs became very heavy as well as her eye lids.

They began to flutter and Barbra couldn’t keep them open. Her hand went up to her forehead and held it in place. She stopped there though, not able to go on. For a final time her eyes shut and Batgirl began to fall forwards. Her fall was stopped though. The last few thoughts in her concisions mind was, feels like nylon....

Poison Ivy smiled. Batgirl rested helplessly in her arms. She ran a hand down the heroine’s side. Ivy loved the feel of Batgirl’s costume. The villainess also was about to take another liberty. She laid the koed crime fighter on the table that Supergirl had been on. Making sure she wasn’t going anywhere, Ivy brought her hands up to Batgirl’s mask.

“Bitch, knocked the wind out of me. What are you doing?” Rose asked clutching her stomach. “Sssh I want to enjoy this.” Ivy replied. Her hands gripped the side of the tight black bat mask. Pulling upwards she slid the item off Batgirl’s face with the same joy she felt when she rolled her tights up her legs. Within seconds she was done.

“Is that who I think it is?” Rose asked with joy. Ivy laughed, “Yes it is. Barbra Gordon, well I wouldn’t have guessed. Rose, take her and place her in Supergirl’s room.”

Rose accepted the assignment with glee, carrying the helpless Batgirl over to Supergirl’s cell. Ivy was once again pleased with herself. Supergirl powerless, Batgirl her prisoner, everything was coming up roses for her.

Her vision was blurred; head ached, and…OH GOD MY MASK! Barbra sat up and almost screamed. “Whoa, whoa there…calm down you’re okay?” she felt a pair of hands on her shoulders easing her back onto the cot the caped crusader laid on. Batgirl shook her head trying to clear the cobwebs. Finally her vision was cleared, she looked up. Supergirl struck a smile, “That’s better you okay?”

Batgirl brought her self up, resting on her elbows, “Yeah, I hate knock out spray, leaves ya feeling too weird.” “Hopefully it should ware off soon. Still can’t get over waking up from that chloroforming.” Supergirl answered. Batgirl was puzzled, Supergirl gave her a short version of how she ended up here. When they reached the last ten minutes Batgirl asked the question that Supergirl didn’t want to answer, “So…how are your powers?”

“I tried when you were out, physically I feel fine yet…not fine.” Supergirl showed Batgirl a cut on her hand, “I’m just as normal as you…no offense Barbra.” “None taken, I guess Ivy decided to see who was under the mask.” Barbra offered. Supergirl smiled, “I give her credit for doing it when she had the chance, how many times has the bad guy caught you and not done it?” Batgirl’s laugh told Supergirl she was right about that. It eased the tension of the two locked up superheroines.

Barbra got up and walked around the small cell, “Well seems were locked up nice and tight Su…say is there anything I can call you besides Supergirl?” Supergirl smiled and closed her eyes, [Linda…] Babs opened her eyes in shock; Supergirl’s voice had just popped into her head, “How did you…” “Telepathy, I’ve had it but not really needed it. It isn’t much all I can do is beam my thoughts into yours. No picking up anything with my mind and smashing the door open. Works even without my powers, all female kryptonains had it.” “Okay, Linda any idea in how we get out of here?” Batgirl asked.

Linda looked around trying to see any weakness in the room. This was the first time in two days she hadn’t been in the grips of kryptonite poisoning and had the chance to look around. No air vents, windows, or wood boards to pull up and escape from. “Looks like if we’re getting out it’s through the door.” Barbra decided her own search showing nothing of use.

“And then me.” Tulip stood in front of the cell looking in. Supergirl and Batgirl turned to look at their guard. Batgirl scanned up and down the henchwoman’s body, she has a key for the door and my belt! she thought.

[If you’re thinking about getting her keys or your belt, she needs to get closer] Linda shot off to Batgirl. Barbra nodded her head in a yes, and began to close the distance to the door, “Seems you’ve got us right where you want us.” “Yes we do. Supes is just some blonde in leotard and short skirt, and do even count as a superheroine? I mean no powers just a hot cop running around in her tights.” Tulip smirked. Barbra closed the final distance to the cell door, “What, want to say that to my face?” Tulip smiled and walked closer bringing herself up to the door, “Do you even…AHHH”

Batgirl closed her hand around Tulip’s neck and brought the henchwoman’s head forward and bashed it against the metal bars of the door. The impact with the steel knocked the girl out cold. Linda smiled, “Remind me not to get on your bad side.” “That’s right.” Barbra joked. Shortly after getting the keys both Linda and Babs were free of the cell and Batgirl had her belt of tricks back. Tulip occupied the cell.

“All right now we find Ivy and beat the crap out of her till she tells us how to get your powers back out of the machine.” Batgirl offered. Supergirl shook her head, “As rewarding as that sounds I think we need to be careful, Ivy said the machine could transfer powers…”

The wall next to them exploded. Instinctively Supergirl and Batgirl covered each other. Then they faced the source of the explosion. What they saw shocked Linda, Rose floating above the hole in the ground with a confident Ivy standing behind her, “Oh Supergirl you’re right about that, the machine does transfer as well.”

Supergirl and Batgirl were in deep, well a word not to be uttered by good natured superheroines. The odds weren’t even, a depowered Supergirl and rearmed Batgirl against Ivy and a superpowered Rose.

“Okay so who gets who?” Batgirl asked getting in a fighting stance and pulling a batarang out of her belt. Linda eyed the two villains, damn it, she cursed, without powers I’m not much help. Even though she wasn’t going to be much help Supergirl took a fighting stance as well.

“Oh please ladies, do you think I want to put a run in these tights.” Ivy nodded to Rose who’s eyes began to glow firey red. Supergirl was going to knock her friend out of the way when a red rocket seemed to come out of nowhere and slammed into Rose. The girl went flying backwards out of the greenhouse towards the edge of the park. Barbra and Linda turned to see a woman standing in a red unitard with a triara and golden belt.

“Supergirl what have I told you about picking fights, leave a note so I can join you.” With that Wondergirl hit Ivy in the face. Drew smiled then turned serious, “You all right?” Linda hugged her friend, “Been better I’ll explain later, listen can you go deal with the green one with superpowers?” Drew smiled, “No problem, I’ll just be a minute.”

Wondergirl superspeeded out of the room. Batgirl and Supergirl entered the room where Ivy was slowly picking herself off the floor. Barbra spotted her mask on a table and recovered it. Turning to face Supergirl, “Mind if I have a crack at her first?” Supergirl smiled, “Go ahead.”

Babs lifted Ivy up by her head and let off a series of punches in her gut. Backing off Batgirl then gave the plant mistress a kick to the head. This sent Ivy tublling into her lab equipment. Panting for breath by her equipment Ivy spoke, “Well…a little…peeved by me…unmasking you?” “A little.” Babs slammed her fist into Ivy’s stomach, causing her to double over. Then Batgirl kneed the villain in the head, reading her unconsions.

Drew brought herself to a halt. Her super punch had sent the girl Linda had called Rose out into the park. Wondergirl spotted a long dirt trail indicating where Rose had landed. Following it she came upon an empty carter. Where is she, Drew thought only to have a pair of pantyhosed feet land on top of her. Sending the Amazon into the dirt of the carter. Rose placed her hands on her hips and stared down at Wondergirl.

“Well look who showed up. I guess I get to test my new found powers on you.” Reaching down she grabbed the front of Drew’s unitard lifting her up. Rose brought her hand back and slammed it into Wondergirl’s face sending the lovely lady into the trees. “That…hurt…” Drew grumbled as she picked herself out of a pine tree.

She watched as Rose began to come at her at superspeed. Drew rolled to the left and dodged the henchwoman, who promptly ran into a tree. Wondergirl almost laughed out loud. But it dawned on drew that her foe didn’t have a proper grasp on how to use her powers, a sly smile appeared on her face, “Uh, you missed.”

Rose her tights ripped and dirtied from the impact screamed through clenched teeth. Again she charged Wondergirl. Again the henchwoman missed. Drew placed her hands on her hips and mocked Rose, “You know if you keep this up I won’t even have to lift a finger.”

“Oh yeah, try this bitch!” Twin hot beams of heat and light shot from her eyes. Without thinking she brought up her bracelets. Smacking against the Amazonian steel the deadly heat beams were sent through the trees burning holes through them and setting leaves on fire. Cutting her attack Rose shot up and went right for Drew.

The two ladies locked arms in one hell of a test of strength. Wondergirl’s boots dug into the ground trying to get her leverage, Rose lifted herself up with flight power and pushed down. This satisfied the henchwoman who now had Wondergirl pinned on her back, arms held above her head.

“Not so smug now eh? How about I test out my strength some more?” Rose released Drew’s arms to bring a superfast clenched fists attack on Drew’s chest. Wondergirl grunted then thought to herself, now…I know why Lyn said she wasn’t the best….this bitch stole her powers. Rose picked herself off the supergirl and proceeded to grab Drew by her boots, “Let’s try this.”

Lifting Wondergirl by her feet, Rose began to spin superfast and got going so fast she actually ripped Drew from her boots. Flying away Wondergirl landed in a heap back near the greenhouse. Her head was spinning out of control, bringing her hands to the side of her head to try and stop the motion, Drew couldn’t react to someone grabbing her feet. Turing her head she saw a snickering Rose.

The henchwoman hand her red spandex covered feet in her grip, “Ever think about wearing sandals Wondie? Well let’s get you back inside.” Rose lifted her up again and threw her into the greenhouse. Drew couldn’t yell a warning as she crashed through the wall then into the lab. She wouldn’t remember slamming into Batgirl, Babs did though. The two ended up out cold on the far wall, stopped by one of Ivy’s machines.

Rose came through the first hole in the room made by Wondergirl. Walking over to the koed crimefighters she smirked, “Well looks like we have a full house, one alien, an amazon and a bat.” Rose lifted both out cold girls up and began placed their backs up against one another. Then the villainess wrapped Wondergirl’s golden lasso around the pair. Admiring her handiwork, Rose suddenly realized something, Supergirl was missing.

She turned trying to find the Maiden of Might. Rose swore and wondered where the blasted girl was. “Looking for me?” Rose turned. Coming out of the shadows was Supergirl, Rose thought she had her hands clasped behind her back, not holding anything. “Yeah you can now die, I’m going to enjoy this.” Rose began to march towards Supergirl. Suddenly though, Rose felt weaker and nausea ripped into her stomach. Stumbling she crused, “What…no…Ivy said…they would last….” Linda shook her head, “Kryptonain powers 101, never go into a red sun, get hit with magic, and most importantly, no kryptonite.” She pulled the green glowing hose from behind her back out. Now that Rose processed Linda’s powers she gained her weakness.

The henchwoman fell to the ground. Withering in pain Supergirl bent down and brought the villainess hands together. Quickly she bound Rose with the tights, plus she was overjoyed to have the stuff out of her hands. Powers or no powers, kryptonite made her skin crawl.

Now she went to wake Drew and Barbra.

“Thanks for the help, even though I could have handled it” Drew smirked. “Handled it? Drew you were out cold on the floor.” Linda laughed. “I believe you were out Drew along with me.” Barbra smiled.

Linda Danvers, Drew Prince, and Barbra Gordon were enjoying coffee and snacks outside one of the better Café’s in Gotham. After the events of the previous night the girls were happy to relax. Using her lasso Drew was able to reveal how Ivy had stole Supergirl’s powers and save Batgirl’s identity. After regaining her powers Linda had safely hidden the green kryptonite hose, and the chunk of gold kryptonite that Ivy had.

“Yes, I admit that…but hey I saved Linda’s gifts.” Drew shot back. Linda and Babs rolled their eyes. “No, I remember correctly that it was Babs who figured out how to use the machines and laser. True though you did get Ivy to fess up.” Linda allowed. As they continued their lunch a massive explosion erupted from down the street. Using her telescopic vision Linda spotted a number of armed men leaving the bank.

Turning her head back to Babs and Drew, “Well…” they nodded. Leaving cash for the check the three parted ways, a few seconds later Gothmanites watched as first a blue and red streak headed after the robbers, then a red blur across the ground, and finally a black motorcycle.
