"I'm tired of having sex with Supergirl, Lex."

"Mercy, Mercy, Mercy, how often must I ask you to call the woman Mighty Lass?" the distinguished bald man in the $1,800 gray Armani business suit says to his aide, stunningly sensuous in her black lycra bodysuit, shiny black calf-high boots and wrist-length black leather gloves. Her tightly wrapped blond hair reflects sunlight filtering through the ceiling-to-floor windows in Lex Luthor's office at LexCorp. "We can't take any chances that she regains her memory," he chides his aide. "We were lucky once that we were able to give her amnesia. She mustn't recover before we use her for our benefit, my dear."

"I know, Lex," Mercy replies in a slightly whiny voice, leaning against her boss' right side and draping her left arm over his shoulder, her fingertips lightly stroking his left ear. "But why do I have to have sex with her every damn night, Boss?"

"Because it helps build a bond between you and her, Mercy," Luthor answers, turning toward his aide and removing her arm from his shoulder. "For the past two days, you and I have been the only people she's had any contact with. Much as I would like to sample her, I'd rather have her bond with you as both friend and lover. Besides, I thought you would be happy that I've not shown much attention to our newest employee?"

A rueful grimace washes across Mercy's face. She was, in fact, afraid that Supergirl - Mighty Lass in her confused state - might become Luthor's number one female. "Okay, Boss, I'll keep the bitch happy for you. But I want a bonus!"

"I should think having sex every night with the most powerful woman on Earth was its own reward," Luthor says with a smile.

"Not when she forgets herself while in deep passion, Boss," Mercy says. "I had two fingers in her when she had an orgasm. She clenched and I thought she was going to crush my fingers. I'm lucky I got her to loosen up before any serious damage was done!"

"Mr. Luthor," the intercom squawks, interrupting them. "Mr. Jenkins is here and needs to see you."

"Send him in, Mrs. Stefani," Luthor says after pressing the SEND button on the intercom.

One of Luthor's men, Stan Jenkins, enters the office. "Still no sign of Kent, Mr. Luthor," he says as he shuffles across the carpet. A non-descript general purpose thug on Luthor's staff, Jenkins has been trying to deliver a videotape to Clark Kent (for Kent to pass on to Superman). The tape shows Supergirl as Luthor's prisoner and warns Superman that her life might end if Luthor's nefarious operations are molested in the future by the Man of Steel. Problem is - Luthor needs Kent to deliver the tape to Superman and Kent has not been seen for the past ten days.

"I took that Olson guy out to lunch today, Mr. Luthor," Jenkins continues. "He told me that Kent was working on a story about Defense Department technology bein' stole and sold. Olson said that Kent musta gone under cover on the story."

"Stolen Defense technology, hmmm?" Luthor says, rubbing his chin with one hand. "Mercy, have we any indications that Kent might have inflitrated any of our operations?" After the woman nods her head NO, Luthor turns and walks across the carpet toward the window. "Keep an eye out for Kent - he must be sniffing out leads for Superman to follow up."

"Of course, that assumes that he's even going after us, Boss," Mercy says helpfully. "We're not the only ones stealing military technology."

"No, we're not, Mercy," Luthor agrees. "I pity Kent if he went after Dr. Collins and her operation. Since that woman assumed the career of a super villainess named MixMaster, she's become a very dangerous person to cross."

"Maybe he DID go after her, Boss," Mercy suggests. "Maybe he's dead! So how do we contact Superman?"

"Jenkins," Luthor says, turning back toward his two people, "see if Lois Lane can help you get that tape to Superman. But be extremely careful with her. She's an extremely nosy reporter and she might try to view the tape. Tell her the same story we had for Kent - the tape is a one-time view and if anyone but Superman plays it, he'll never see the tape. Also tell her that only his super vision can see everything on the tape. Maybe that will keep the bitch Lane in line."

"Yes sir, Mr. Luthor," Jenkins says, turning to leave the office.

After the thug has left the room, Mercy moves close to her boss. "What to we do with, uh, Mighty Lass?" she asks, wrapping her arms around Luthor's neck. She playfully rubs one leather-clad finger against the back of his neck, then slowly drags it forward and draws a circle around one of his ears. Luthor shudders briefly from the contact, then shrugs his shoulders.

"I think we should send her out on a little mission for us," Luthor says, leaning into Mercy's finger as it teases his ear.

"How do you feel, my dear," the deep baritone voice of Luthor interrupts the concentration of Mighty Lass as she does isometric exercises in Luthor's special gym. Currently she's trying to lower one arm while using the other to raise it, working muscles in one arm against the other. Thus her super muscles can be worked at their limit without damaging equipment or buildings.

Supergirl, who is now convinced that she really is someone named Mighty Lass and is an employee of Luthor, is dressed in a costume made by Luthor from a special fabric called GatorSkin. The fabric is bullet and knife proof, cannot be burned, and is proof against most acids. Her costume consists of a light green leotard that covers her from crotch to neck to wrist, a pair of dark green ankle-high boots and white gloves, and a light green hood that covers her head completely, down to the top of the leotard. There are no eye or mouth holes in the hood - her super vision eliminates the need for such. Most of the hood is also lined with thin lead fibers (except where eye holes might be cut), blocking anyone with x-ray vision (like the Man of Steel) from seeing inside the hood.

"I feel okay, Mr. Luthor," Mighty Lass says, breaking her routine. She rises to her feet and moves toward her boss. "I still have headaches and can't remember anything about my past - who I am, where I live, nothing. What happened to make me like this, Mr. Luthor?"

"A group of very powerful people," Luthor replies, smiling at his newest weapon, "trapped you and nearly killed you. Fortunately, some of my men came to your rescue."

"Who are those people?" Mighty Lass asks?

"They call themselves the, uh, the Justice League," Luthor says, slightly turning away from Mighty Lass. "A cruel joke on their part - at best they're vigilantes, at worst they are evil men and women who threaten business, Hell, even the peace and safety of the world. Some have super powers that would amaze you, others have special weapons which make them nearly unstoppable. They, ah, they may be too dangerous for you to confront again," he concludes, hoping the spur the girl into action.

"Oh, no, I WANT to help you, Mr. Luthor," Mighty Lass exclaims, justifying his sneaky trick against her. "Maybe if I faced them one at a time?"

"Hmmm," Luthor muses, dragging out his answer, "yes, that might work. Well, if you're game, Mercy has told me that you and she are getting along well and that you have more than enough energy to spare . . ."

Mighty Lass blushes at the thought of her relationship with Mercy, her relationship as a submissive to the very dominant Mercy, and the . . . enthusiastic sex they've had these past two days.

"Y-yes sir," Mighty Lass stammers. "I'm ready, Mr. Luthor."

"Well, let's start you out with something easy, shall we?" Luthor says. "We've shown you all that you can do - your tremendous strength, invulnerability, your ability to run very fast . . ." (Luthor and Mercy took pains to hide from Supergirl/Mighty Lass many of her super powers, like flight, super vision, breath and super hearing, to help conceal her identity and ensure that no one associates her powers with those of the missing Maid of Might.)

"One of these League members is supposed to be in the city today meeting with some, uh, anti-business types," Luthor says, taking Mighty Lass by her bicep and turning to lead her out of the gym. "This fellow, he calls himself the Flash, he has the ability to run at sup- . . . uh, at incredible speed. Everything he does he can do very, very fast, Mighty Lass."

"I'll bet I can catch him, Mr. Luthor," Mighty Lass replies, bouncing slightly on her heels like a playful puppy and smiling, even though Luthor couldn't possibly see the smile through her hood.

"Well, let's see if you can, Mighty Lass," Luthor says, smiling. "Mercy will take you to the building where this Flash character is meeting with anti-business terrorists; be a good girl and bring him back here, unconscious but alive, mind you, and I'll be very pleased with you!"

"Well, okay, Mr. Luthor," Mighty Lass says, doing a slight hop for happiness at the chance to please her boss.

"Thanks for meeting with us," the businessman says to the Flash as they leave a mid-town office building's conference room. "We'll be sure to help you . . ."

"Help you out of the terrorist business!" a silky voice interrupts. All heads turn toward the voice and react to the sight of the very shapely green-clad woman standing outside the conference room. No doubt of her sex - even though she wears a hood, the stunning curves of her body are not concealed by her costume. She stands with her legs slightly spread and her hands on her hips, her luscious 38-D breasts thrust forward like a pair of warheads aimed at the Scarlet Speedster.

"And who might you be?" Flash asks woman in a friendly voice, stepping toward her.

"I'm Mighty Lass and I'm going to take you someplace where you can't hurt anyone ever again!"

"Hurt? What the . . .?" the speedster asks, puzzled by her tone. Before he can react, Mighty Lass lunges forward and grasps his costume just below his shoulders and lifts him off the floor. After shaking him like a rag doll she turns and slams his body against the wall, slightly stunning the Fastest Man Alive.

"Nnnhh," Flash grunts, "ENOUGH!" His hands begin hammering Mighty Lass's biceps, moving at eye-blurring speed. At the same time, his feet begin kicking the woman's knees, also at super speed. In seconds, the flurry of punches and kicks cause the woman's arms to weaken slightly and she staggers slightly.

"Aaoowww," Mighty Lass cries in pain as she lowers her arms. When Flash's boots touch the floor, the man begins pummeling her steel-hard abs. Again, after just seconds, she staggers backward away from him, one hand on her stomach, trying to stop the pain from his jackhammer-like blows.

Meanwhile, Flash is stunned that this slight woman has taken such a terrific pounding and is still on her feet. He had started out with a series of fast but light punches and kicks and then had to go full speed with his hardest kicks and punches to get her to react. "She's damn near invulnerable!" he thinks as he moves toward the woman.

Mighty Lass stands with her back against the far wall of the hallway, one hand on her stomach and the other in front of her, palm facing the Flash, as if keeping him back. She quickly recovers from his hammering and as he moves toward her, she charges him. They meet in the middle of the hallway and each wraps his/her arms around the other. Flash moves his arms rapidly in and out - he hopes to set up a powerful set of vibrations on her body to stun the woman. Before he can accomplish this, though, he cries out in pain as her super muscles begin to crush his arms against his rib cage.

"AAAOOOOWWWW!!" Flash cries, arching his back. His arms fall limply to his sides and his head hangs backward as the Scarlet Speedster groans in pain. "N-no . . . s-stop it you . . . you're crushing . . . meeee!"

Mighty Lass slightly releases her grip and the man slips toward the floor, still enveloped by her thin green-clad arms. She quickly squeezes him again when his head drops to the level of her head and then she butts his forehead with hers. Flash's eyes flutter and lose focus from the powerful blow and a second head butt stuns the hero into unconsciousness. Mighty Lass looks at her conquest for a second, then decides he IS unconscious and beaten.

As the stunned civic leaders watch, Mighty Lass lifts the unconscious red-clad hero into the air and tosses him over one shoulder like a twenty-pound bag of cat food. She confidently turns and walks toward the stairwell, grinning inside her hood at how easily she's vanquished this man and in anticipation of how happy this will make Mr. Luthor.

"You were MAGNIFICENT, darling," Mercy cooes into Mighty Lass' ear. The two women are wrapped in each other's arms in Mercy's large bed, one of Mercy's hands running through Mighty Lass' hair. "That Flash character is very dangerous! But you subdued him and brought him back to us as if he was no more than a bad child!"

"He was trying to hurt me," Mighty Lass says to her lover, kissing Mercy lightly on the lips, "but a few head butts and he was finished. Did I really do good? Was Mr. Luthor pleased?"

"Oh, yes, baby," Mercy gushes, sliding one hand down to cup one of Mighty Lass' breasts. Both women are naked and a sheet partially covers them from their hips down. "Mr. Luthor was VERY happy with what you did. He's going to turn over that Flash fellow to the authorities first thing in the morning, thanks to your help! Now, enough shop talk - it's time to put that wonderful tongue of yours to work for me!"

"Yes, ma'am," Mighty Lass says in a little girl voice, bending her head so that she has to look upward into Mercy's face and appears to be a child responding to a stern adult. Slowly the Maid of Might slides down the bed and wraps her hands around Mercy's hips. As the villainess rolls onto her back and spreads her legs, Mighty Lass slips between them and rises onto her knees. She then tucks her head down between Mercy's thighs and slowly, almost hesitatingly, the Girl of Steel's tongue darts out between her ruby lips and dances lightly across Mercy's nether lips. Mercy moans softly when the tongue slips between the lips and gently teases her clitoris. As Mighty Lass increases the teasing, Mercy arches her back in response to a sudden orgasm. Smiling at how well she's done her job, Mighty Lass continues tonguing the woman and slips two fingers into Mercy's anus, causing another, more powerful orgasm to shake the woman's body.

"Oh, gods YEESSSS!!" Mercy hisses as her body shakes. "MORRREEE!!"

"Yes my mistress ," the slavish Mighty Lass replies, increasing her efforts to please Mercy.

Far above Mercy's room in the huge LexCorp complex, Luthor paces in his office after a very busy day of crime and, at least in the Flash's case, punishment. "She broke both his arms, Mr. Luthor," Rashid, another of Lex's thugs reports to the boss. "A few ribs, too. He ain't doin' so good. But we didn't take off his mask, just like you said."

"Keep an eye on him - if he seems to be recovering, shoot him up with some heroin - not enough to kill him, just enough to get him hooked and keep him quiet - until I decide what to do with him," the crime boss says, turning to look out at the evening lights of Metropolis. "That should settle the Flash's hash!"

"What's this about the Flash?" a deep voice says from a dark corner of Luthor's office. Lex and Rashid turn toward the sound coming out of the deep shadows and both take a step back when Batman steps out of the shadows.

"I've been looking for two of my friends," the Caped Crusader says as he crosses the carpet toward Luthor and Rashid. "Then today I hear some unknown woman captured the Flash. Now I hear you talking about him, Luthor. WHERE IS HE!?"

Rashid reaches behind himself and pulls a .380 from his belt. As he brings the handgun forward and aims it at the Dark Knight, a batarang flies across the room, hits the barrel, and knocks the weapon to the floor. Snarling like a feral dog, Rashid rushes the hero and Lex moves carefully toward his desk. Batman easily dodges Rashid's rush and chops the edge of one hand down on the thug's neck as he races past. Rashid drops to the carpet, unconscious, as the Batman turns toward Lex. Batman has another batarang ready to throw at Luthor but the criminal is just standing beside his desk, smiling, one hand atop the desk, the other partially under the desk.

"Now, what were you going to tell me about Flash?" Batman growls as he advances toward Luthor.

WHOOPWHOOPWHOOPWHOOPWHOOP roars a speaker in one corner of Mercy's bedroom. She and Mighty Lass are shocked out of their passionate lovemaking by the insistent blaring of the horn. "Wh-what's that!?" Mighty Lass gasps as she rises to a seated position beside Mercy, cum from the criminal blonde dripping down the chin of the former Maid of Might.

"Alarm . . . someone is threatening Mr. Luthor in his office," Mercy replies, instantly regaining her professional composure. "He has a button under his desk - c'mon, girl, get dressed. Lex needs us!"

Even as Mercy slips into her black catsuit, Mighty Lass has already donned her costume and is rushing through the door from Mercy's apartment. As Mercy slips into one of her shiny black boots, Mighty Lass races up the twenty-four flights to Luthor's office. By the time Mercy has her second boot on, Mighty Lass crashes through the door of Luthor's office and skids to a stop, some three feet from both Luthor and Batman. She quickly sees Rashid on the floor and an intruder with some sort of weapon in his hand, threatening her boss.

"Mercy said you might be in trouble, Mr. Luthor," Mighty Lass says in a steady voice. She looks at Batman and sees a magnificent male specimen. Part of her wants to lie with this man, but most of her needs to know why his presence caused Luthor to call for help and what happened to Rashid.

"Yes, my dear," Luthor replies, "would you please escort this man out of our building?"

"Who's this, Luthor?" Batman asks, turning to face the woman. "Green costume - matches the description of the woman who captured the Flash. Did she grab him for you?"

Before Luthor can answer, Mighty Lass, her hands on her hips, her breasts thrust out toward the Caped Crimefighter, proudly admits that she captured Flash. "And tomorrow we're going to turn him over to the police so he can pay for his crimes!" she finishes.

"What the . . .?" Batman says, stepping toward the smaller woman. "Who ARE you?" he asks the woman.

"I'm Mighty Lass, who are you?" she says. She remains in her power pose as the black-clad man moves across the carpet toward her. He can't intimidate HER!

"I think you should release Flash, Luthor, before I lose my temper," Batman says through gritted teeth. He's still staring at the curvaceous female body before him.

"Batman, meet Mighty Lass," Luthor says finally, "my strong and very capable right arm. Mighty Lass, this man is one of the men who beat you up the other day, who abused and tortured your unconscious body. I would like you . . ."

"What the HELL are you babbling about, Luthor?" Batman interrupts, turning to face the crime lord.

"NNOOO!!" Mighty Lass roars as she charges the hero. Her body slams into Batman's right side and the pair fly across the room and crash into the wall, shattering this side of the wall and almost bursting through to the other side. "You BASTARD!" she roars at Batman as she sits on his hip and pummels the side of his head and body with moderately-powerful blows. Batman is quickly hammered into a stunned state, despite padding in his suit.

Luthor moves over to the combatants and is barely able to restrain Mighty Lass. Slowly, reluctantly she rises off the fallen hero. Blood trickles from his mouth and his eyes are closed. In less than two seconds, she's severely beaten the man, breaking his arm and several ribs. There's even a hairline fracture on his square jaw, invisible to normal sight. "You've done quite enough," Luthor says evenly as he pulls Mighty Lass to her feet. "Let us take care of this . . . this evil man, Mighty Lass."

Mercy races into the room and stops at the sight of Luthor, one arm around Mighty Lass' shoulder, Batman at his feet. Lex turns toward Mercy and there is a broad smile on his face. His arms slips down around Mighty Lass' slender waist and Lex turns the woman so she faces Mercy. "Mighty Lass," Luthor begins, "why don't you return to your room? Mercy and I can get this deal with this villain. We'll be able to turn HIM over to the police, along with the Flash, tomorrow morning. And thank you, my dear," he says, leaning down to kiss her hood where it covers her forehead, "for rushing to my aid, to ensure my safety."

Positively glowing with pride, Mighty Lass leaves Luthor's office. "Glad to help you, Mr. Luthor!" she beams as she leaps over the remains of the office door. As Mighty Lass disappears around a corner, a scowl immediately fills Lex's face as he and Mercy begin to arrange for Batman's incarceration in LexCorp cells near the Flash. Mercy quickly moves over to Batman and uses cord from the office's blinds to bind his hands and feet. In minutes, he's hog-tied with a series of cords around his biceps, forearms and wrists. Other cords have tied together his ankles, knees and thighs. A short cord links his wrists to his ankles, bending him like a bow. As Mercy finishes, Batman awakes, groaning from the pain of the beating from Mighty Lass as much from the pain of the severe bondage.

"Y-you won't get away . . . away with this," Batman says, spitting blood from his mouth. "The rest of the Justice League . . ."

". . . Won't fare any better than you did against Mighty Lass," Luthor says, finishing Batman's sentence. Luthor walks over toward the captive Caped Crusader and viciously kicks the man, first in his belly, then on his jaw. As Batman's eyes close, Luthor orders, "Mercy, get some men up here! Take him down to holding. And LEAVE HIM ALONE! You can take his utility belt but leave his clothes and cowl on and leave his damn dick alone. I need some maneuvering room and as long as he and Flash still have their masks on, I will have some control over their future actions. I can even use it as leverage against Superman when he gets involved. AND WHERE IS THAT BIG BLUE PEST, ANYWAY!" Luthor roars as Mercy and two henchmen drag the unconscious crimefighter out of Lex's office.

"Batman, Flash, and now Hawkman, all missing," Green Lantern says to Wonder Woman. "Superman and Supergirl, too. And the word on the streets says that Luthor is involved."

"He would be," the Amazon princess says, looking around the room. Besides Lantern, Robin, Batgirl, and Hawkgirl are also in the Justice League conference room. "Both Hawkman and Flash were last seen fighting with a woman wearing some kind of green costume," the brunette beauty continues, "who could be working for Luthor."

"She must be fairly powerful if she can take out Flash and Carter," Hawkgirl says.

"And Batman," Robin adds hastily.

"If she's also done something to Superman and Supergirl," Batgirl says, "we may not be able to stop her!"

Suddenly the huge double doors of the League conference room crash open and a small figure in a light green costume confidently strides into the room, walking over the double doors now lying on the floor. Before the heroes can rise to their feet, Mighty Lass tosses a pair of grenades at the conference table. They land and explode, issuing a thick oily cloud of smoke.

"G-gas!" Wonder Woman gasps, pushing back from the table as her hand goes to her face.

Lantern instantly uses his ring to both cover his head with a green gas mask and to create a large fan that blows the gas back toward the green-clad woman. She just stands on the fallen doors, hands on her hips, as the powerful knockout gas surrounds her. It seems to have absolutely no effect on the strange woman. Wonder Woman and GL rise shakily to their feet, senses somewhat dulled by the gas. The others lie on the ground, already unconscious and out of the fight.

"You can give up now, or you can let me beat you into submission," the supremely confident Mighty Lass says to the two heroes left on their feet. The Amazon has one hand on the conference table and is shaking her head, trying to clear the gas' effects out of it. GL, less affected by the gas, uses his power ring to reach across the room. A large green hand envelops Mighty Lass' body and lifts her off the floor.

"He-HEY!" Mighty Lass bleats as the powerful force lifts her off the carpet. One hand is pinned against her side, so she uses her other hand to beat on the ethereal hand. Her blows rain on it like mighty jackhammers but have no effect. A second ghostly green hand appears and grabs Mighty Lass' free arm and twists it painfully behind her back. "Unnh, c-can't believe it - this can't aaaooowww can't be happening!" Mighty Lass says to herself as the battle suddenly shifts against her. "Lu-Luthor was right, I should have moved faster against them instead of standing in the door! AAooowww, you're HURTING mee!" she cries as Lantern's mystic hands twist both her arms behind her body.

The Amazon princess, somewhat recovered by now, moves to stand beneath the hovering body of Mighty Lass. Wonder Woman slowly uncoils her Magic Lasso, forms a loop around one end, and tosses it up and over Mighty Lass' head. As the sorcerous lariat settles on Mighty Lass' shoulders, her struggles cease and her eyes cloud over.

"Now, woman, who ARE you?" the imperious Amazon asks Mighty Lass. "Who do you work for? Why are you here?"

"I'm . . . I'm Mighty Lass," the captive stammers. "Mr. Luthor says you've been disrupting his business. I wanted to please Mr. Luthor by capturing you for him."

"LUTHOR!" GL bellows. "What do you know about the other missing heroes!?"

"Heroes?" the ensorceled Mighty Lass asks, "I don't know about any heroes."

"Do you have any of our friends," Wonder Woman asks.

"Who are your friends?" Mighty Lass asks, bound by the lasso and unable to do more than answer questions.

"Batman, Superman, Hawkman, Flash, Supergirl," GL says, moving closer to the two women.

"Yes," Wonder Woman says, "have you seen any of them?"

"I captured Batman, Hawkman and Flash," Mighty Lass replies in a wooden voice. "I don't know the other two."

"WHAT?" Lantern shouts, "How can you NOT know of Superman and Supergirl?" No response. "C'mon, answer me! How come you don't know about the two most powerful people on the planet?"

"You have to hold the lasso if you want her to anwer your question, Lantern," the Amazon chides her companion. "Answer truthfully any questions that this man or I ask you, girl," she says to Mighty Lass.

"I don't know who those two are," Mighty Lass says. "Mr. Luthor talked about Superman, said I was to help capture him, but I never heard of that Supergirl. I . . . I don't think I have. The name sounds familiar, though, for some reason."

"If we tie you up, can you escape?" Wonder Woman asks Mighty Lass.

"Probably," Mighty Lass answers. "I'm very strong."

"Will gas or chloroform knock you out?" Lantern asks.

"No, I'm invulnerable," Mighty Lass answers.

"Whew," Lantern says, "Luthor's got a winner here! Super strong and invulnerable. No wonder she captured our friends!"

"Can you take us to them?" the Amazon asks Mighty Lass.

"Yes."

"Lantern, let's think about this," Wonder Woman says, turning to her colleague. "Invading LexCorp and freeing our friends won't be easy."

A groggy Batgirl joins them. "What's going on? Who's this?" she asks, trying to clear the last of the gas from her head.

As Green Lantern brings the distaff Crusader up to speed, Wonder Woman thinks about a strategy to free her friends.

"Bring her down to the floor, GL," Wonder Woman says, turning to the Lantern. "Batgirl, go stand beside her. Yes, see, they're about the same height and their figures are similar. I have an idea, Lantern . . ."

"I'm way ahead of you, Princess," Batgirl says, eyeing the green-clad woman. "But how can I see through that hood of hers? Not like I have x-ray vision yah know!"

"Don't worry, Batgirl," Lantern says, "I have a solution for that." He turns toward Mighty Lass and, smiling at her, says one word: "Strip"

His green magic hands release Mighty Lass' arms and move away from her, poised to lunge in and recapture her should Wonder Woman's lasso fail. But in a few moments, Mighty Lass has discarded all of her costume except her hood, which she can't remove because it's encircled by the Magic Lasso. Wonder Woman ties the free end of the lasso around Mighty Lass' slender waist and removes the strand around her neck.

Batgirl, Wonder Woman and Lantern gasp audibly when the green hood is slowly lifted off Mighty Lass. "SUPERGIRL!" they exclaim in unison.

"Hunh?" the naked blonde stammers, "wh-what did you call me?" Her hands rise to cover her breasts and she shifts her leg to cover her crotch.

"You - you're Supergirl," Wonder Woman says, stunned to see the heroine like this. "What game are you playing, girl?"

"I - I'm not playing a game," Mighty Lass says, still bound by the Golden Lasso and still compelled to tell the truth. In this case, her belief about what is true doesn't exactly match the truth the League believes.

Wonder Woman removes her tiara and drags the tip of it across Mighty Lass' shoulder, digging the tip into the woman's creamy white skin. Not a mark. "This would cut steel like a diamond," the Amazon says, "but it didn't even crease your skin. If you're not Supergirl, you're her twin!"

"Maybe Luthor did something to her," Lantern says, still eyeing the lovely blonde.

"Uh, can we maybe cover her?" Batgirl asks, slightly ashamed at the way the Kryptonian is being treated. Batgirl steps behind Mighty Lass and removes her own cape which she then drapes over Mighty Lass so that it covers most of her front. "C'mon Supergirl, tell us what happened," Batgirl says, moving closer to the blonde, brushing against her back. The rubber-like costume covering Batgirl's breasts presses against Mighty Lass' back and Batgirl's mouth, just inches behind Mighty Lass' head, sends puffs of warm breath against the confused girl's neck. Black-gloved hands pull the cape tightly against Mighty Lass' body and inadvertently (or maybe on purpose) brush against the blonde's hips and ribs. Goose bumps rise on Mighty Lass' skin and she turns her head slightly. She can feel a little wetness starting between her legs as her body responds to the heroine's touch.

"Nn-noo," Mighty Lass says in a startingly soft voice, "d-don't . . ."

"By the power of my Golden Lasso," Wonder Woman intones, tugging on the rope around Mighty Lass' waist and jerking the blonde's attention away from Batgirl, "I compel you to search deeply in your mind, girl. Who are you? What is your true name, your true identity?"

Mighty Lass winces as magic from the lasso courses through her body and her mind races, exploring every hidden memory, reattaching broken synapses, trying to answer the Amazon's question. Conflicting images - a blue and red costume, a green costume, a woman in black . . . "NNOO!" she screams, hands pressing against her temples, "make them stop!" Mighty Lass falls to her knees, sobbing, as her mind fills with strange images and memories.

"What if she really isn't Supergirl?" Lantern asks Wonder Woman as he watches Batgirl kneel behind the blonde and vainly try to cover her body with the black cape.

"I'm SURE she's Supergirl," the Amazon says. "All right!" Wonder Woman says harshly, "you MUST remember who you are, girl! You're Superman's cousin. You're from the planet Krypton. You have powers and abilities far beyond those of normal people, able to leap tall buildings in a single bound . . . more powerful than a locomotive . . . faster than a speeding bullet!"

"NONONONONONOOOOO!" Mighty Lass wails, falling to her elbows and knees, cradling her head in her hands. "I . . . I don't KNOW who I am!" she cries.

Suddenly, like a fog lifting off the ocean, the blonde's mind clears and her body shudders as the Kara/Linda/Supergirl identity regains control of her super body and memories. Slowly she rises off her elbows and looks at the Amazon Princess. "Wonder Woman," she says, a tear filling one eye, "I - I can't thank you enough for helping me. I remember everything now - Luthor trapping me on his ship, letting his men rape me for day after day, those terrible rifles of his." Her super body shudders as she recalls the week of torment Luthor inflicted on her.

Batgirl and Wonder Woman drop down beside Supergirl and each hugs the blonde tightly. Both also tear up in joy at her recovery. In moments all are sobbing and Lantern, sheepishly, turns away from the women and goes to look after Robin and Hawkgirl.

A few minutes later, Supergirl (still wrapped with Batgirl's cape), Batgirl and Wonder Woman join Lantern and the two recovering heroes at the conference table.

"It's time we went after Luthor," the Amazon says, her steel-blue eyes glinting at her companions, "and Mighty Lass here will be our key into Luthor's complex!"

Less than an hour after entering Justice League's Metropolis headquarters, Mighty Lass strides confidently out of the fabled building. In front of her are Wonder Woman and Robin the Boy Wonder. One end of Wonder Woman's Magic Lasso is around the Amazon princess' chest, pinning her arms to her side. The other end is around Robin's chest and also pins his arms to his sides. The center section of the lasso is held by Mightly Lass.

"Holy CRAP!" Steve Kelso says, spitting his coffee onto the inside of the van's window. He and Mercy and Mighty Lass came to the League building in a Krunchy Kreme donut truck and waited, with Mercy, while Mighty Lass went inside.

"Amazing!" Mercy says, beaming with pride at her protegé's success. The two leave the truck and move to the back to open the doors. As the two help load the League members into the step van, Mercy asks Mighty Lass, "what happened? We were starting to get worried about you!"

"Well, those gas bombs didn't stop them - slowed 'em down, but they still had some fight in them, especially Wonder Woman!" Mighty Lass explains as she climbs into the back of the truck. She's still holding the rope so the Amazon and Robin dutifully sit quietly in the back of the van. "Robin wasn't a problem - one good blast with my super breath threw him against the wall, then it was just a slug fest with the Princess here. She's strong, but I'm stronger!" Mighty Lass concludes, confidence oozing from her voice.

Mercy's face clouds over suddenly as Mighty Lass describes her battle. "Something doesn't sound right," Mercy thinks, but she can't decide what's wrong. "Slap some bacon on a bisquit and let's go!" she barks at Kelso. "Let's get these two back to LexCorp before the rest of the League shows up!" As the van roars off into the late-afternoon city traffic, Mercy leans back against the wall of the truck and replays in her mind Mighty Lass' account of the capture of Wonder Woman and Robin.

"Two more for you, Lex," Mighty Lass says as she follows her captives into Luthor's office. "Mercy suggested we bring them here to show you before taking them down to join the others."

"Excellent," Luthor says, rising from behind his desk, smiling at the green-clad woman, "this is just excell- . . . uh, Mighty Lass, take those two downstairs, please. Go down to the third sub-basement, have them put into their own cells. Be sure to remove the Amazon's belt and tiara and Robin's utility belt. Check them for bugs, too. Mercy, stay here a moment, please."

"Okay, Lex," Mighty Lass says, turning and ordering her captives to head out of the crime boss' office.

Seconds later, Luthor turns to his henchwoman. "Did you actually SEE her capture those two?"

"No, boss," Mercy replies, settling into a soft black leather chair andcrossing her long lycra-clad legs. "Mighty Lass said that after she took out Robin with a puff of super breath, it was just a hammer and tong slugfest with the Amazon Princess."

"Is that EXACTLY what she told you?" Luthor asks, moving closer to Mercy.

"Yeah, sure, more or less, Boss," she says, sitting forward on the chair, aware that her boss is bothered by something. "Whnyntcha get Kelso up here if something bothers you? What's up, Boss?"

"Let me think for a moment," the criminal genius replies, turning away from Mercy.

"One, she called me Lex. Since we created Mightly Lass, she's only called me Mr. Luthor. Two, you say she used super breath on Robin? We never told her she had that power. Three, how could she use super breath throught that hood - there's no opening for her mouth? Four, you say she called Wonder Woman an Amazon Princess? Did we ever mention that Wonder Woman was an Amazon Princess? Five, how could she know that that skinny golden rope would keep the Amazon and bird boy meek and mild unless either a) it was used on her and she somehow escaped or b) Supergirl is back with us." As he speaks, Luthor moves back to stand behind his massive desk.

"I KNEW her story didn't sound right!" Mercy exclaims, jumping off the chair, pounding one black-gloved fist into the open palm of her other hand. She moves to stand in front of Luthor's desk.

Luthor punches a button on his intercom and barks, "Rashid, Mighty Lass is coming down with two more guests - please tell her that I want her and the captives to wait with you until Mercy gets there. I don't have time to explain, just ask Mighty Lass to await Mercy. Thank you! Oh, and Rashid, be sure you have one of the tachyon rifles with you. If anyone else is down there with you, everyone is to get one of the rifles BEFORE Mighty Lass arrives. Clear?"

Luthor reaches into a drawer, fiddles around for a few seconds, and pulls out a slim black box. He tosses it to Mercy, standing across from his desk. "Here," he says, "get down there five minutes ago, Mercy! This is for our little turncoat! Don't use it if I'm wrong and she is still loyal to us. If she starts acting like she might be Supergirl again, if you even THINK she's faking, open the box. And don't let her take that rope off the Amazon and Robin until you have manacles securely fastened on each one."

As Mercy rushes into the hallway, Luthor moves over to a closet along one wall of his office. He begins exchanging his business suit for his purple combat suit. "Shitshitshitshitshit," Luthor mutters under his breath as he rushes into his working clothes.

"I don't know, Mighty Lass," Rashid says as the woman stands before him, tapping one boot on the tile floor. "Mr. Luthor just axed me to ax you to wait for Ms. Mercy."

"The word is ask, you cretin," Robin says softly.

"What's that, smartass?" the hood barks, turning the barrel of the tachyon rifle toward the red-clad belly of the Boy Wonder. "Y'all gots you a smart mouth there, kid!"

"Leave him alone, villain," Wonder Woman says, glaring at the man. "He's merely contributing to your education."

"Y'all gots a smart mouth, too, bitch," Rashid says, visibly very nervous as he waves the powerful weapon around, now at the Amazon, now at Robin. As Mighty Lass starts to move toward him, he even swings the barrel back to face her. "Please, Ms. Mighty Lass, Mr. Luthor said you was to wait for Ms. Mercy. I don't want no trouble witcha, honest I don't!"

"Neither do I, neither do I," Mighty Lass replies is a deep, throaty, sexy voice. She raises a white-gloved hand toward the barrel of the weapon as she approaches Rashid. "I also think Mr. Luthor might be upset if this weapon went off and hurt one of these two prisoners, don't you? Why don't you let me hold the rifle until you calm down?"

"I'm calm enough," the man says. His hands are now shaking terribly. "Please just stay there until Ms. Mercy gets here, okay? Mr. Luthor says you gotta wait for her."

The sudden opening of the elevator door pulls everyone's attention away from the confrontation. Mercy walks out of the elevator, with Brown and Kelso in tow. Each henchman is carrying a tachyon rifle. Mercy holds the small back box in her left hand so that her black leather glove hides most of the box.

"Hhhhiiii, Mighty Lass," Mercy drawls, smiling, "I am SOO glad you could wait for me to get down here. Mr. Luthor was concerned that we have enough security here when we take off the rope and put manacles on our prisoners. Boys, cover them!" she says as she approaches Mighty Lass. Now Mighty Lass and her prisoners are between Rashid, on one side of the hallway, and Mercy's group, coming out of the elevator on the far side of the hallway. Slowly, Robin moves off to his right and Wonder Woman moves off to her left, widening the gap between themselves and Mighty Lass.

"Mighty Lass," Mercy says, approaching the blonde, "your prizes are drifting off. I think it's time for you to reel them in. While you're at it, why don't you tell them to kneel down and don't think about escaping."

"Mmm, yeah, okay," Mighty Lass says. She slowly begins to pull the two ends of the lasso (and the two heroes) toward her.

"Shoulda taken off their stuff, Mighty Lass," Mercy says, noticing that Wonder Woman and Robin still have their belts, and the Amazon still has her bracelets and tiara. "I'll just give you a hand, darling," Mercy says, moving toward the Boy Wonder. "You take the Amazon's stuff, I'll get Junior's."

With a deft flick of her wrist, Mighty Lass snaps the lasso and it suddenly falls off her captives. Instantly, everyone in the hallway freezes for a second. Before the thugs can get the shocked looks off their face, the heroes spring into action.

Wonder Woman leaps across the floor and spreads her arms wide apart. Her hands clip Mercy's two confederates in their necks, almost like a football clothesline maneuver. Both men drop to the floor but as he falls, Kelso manages to snap off a tachyon burst that clips the Amazon on the tip of her boot. The massive burst continues upward as Kelso falls onto his back. The burst misses the Amazon but tears a hole in the wall and ceiling. Bits of plaster and ceiling tile blast into the hallway like a snowstorm. The brief contact with her red boot tip shatters the boot and flips the woman into a foreward somersault, over the fallen criminals and into the elevator just as its doors close.

Rashid raises his weapon and aims at Robin's back but the young crimefighter does a backflip and his feet slam into the top of Rashid's head, knocking the man to the floor, unconscious. Rashid also gets off a quick shot but it merely hits the wall across the hallway, missing any valuable targets. As Robin lands, he slips on some of the falling plaster and lands flat on his face.

Mighty Lass begins moving toward Mercy when the villainess flicks her wrist and pops the top off the black box concealed in her glove. "N-nnNOOO!" Mighty Lass gasps, a hand rising to cover her breast, as the familiar effects of green Kryptonite lash out at her super body. "Green K! G-get that away . . . away from me," she begs, now backing away from the black-clad Mercy.

"And how would Mighty Lass know about green Kryptonite," Mercy asks, her voice dripping with sarcasm. "Are we starting to remember things, my little darling?" the woman says. "Guess we can drop the charade of calling you Mighty Lass, eh?"

"Oh, Rao, the pain!" Supergirl groans as the green K robs her of her powers. She backs against the wall as Mercy advances - finally the pain drives the Maid of Might down the wall to settle with her butt on the floor, her knees pulled up against her chest. She raises an arm weakly to fend off Mercy but it quickly falls to the floor, robbed of its strength.

As Robin starts to recover from his fall, Brown rolls to one side and raises his tachyon rifle. He snaps of a quick shot that misses the Boy Wonder but is so close that Robin falls backward to avoid the blast. Again his boots slip on the mess on the floor and this time he lands on his buttocks. As he starts to rise again, Mercy does a quick pirouette and drives the tip of her shiny black boot into the kid's chin, snapping his head back with a sharp crack. By the time Mercy completes her turn to again face the Maid of Might, Robin's head has smashed against the floor and he's out for the count.

"Puh-please . . . please Mercy, don't . . ." an agonized Supergirl begs the ruthless dominatrix.

"Why don't you hold onto this for me?" Mercy asks as she tosses the thin brick of green K at the helpless heroine.

"AAaiiiEEEE!" the Girl of Steel cries as the deadly block bounces off her chest and lands on the floor beside her. She immediately topples onto her side, away from the chunk.

"Better see where that Amazon bitch went," Mercy says to herself, stooping to pick up the Golden Lasso. "Watch the kid!" she barks at Brown as he manages to rise to a seated position, tachyon rifle on his lap, one hand massaging his throat. Mercy bangs on the elevator's up and down buttons, unsure where it went after the Amazon entered it. "Come on, come ON!" she snaps impatiently as she continues to bang the buttons. She stoops again, this time retrieving Kelso's tachyon rifle. "This won't work if she uses her bracelets, but maybe I can distract her long enough to get this lasso around her again."

As the elevator's door starts to open again, Mercy steps back and raises the rifle to cover the opening. Brown scuttles back away from the doorway and shifts his aim toward the door, too. When it opens, two mighty blasts tear into the elevator, destroying the car and part of the elevator shaft. But not the Amazon! No sign of her!

"What th'?" Brown asks, looking nervously at the remnants of the empty car. "Where'd she go?" he asks Mercy.

"Search me," she replies. "Musta got off somewhere."

Suddenly the Amazon drops into the hallway through the hole burned through the ceiling by Kelso's burst. Wonder Woman lands between Brown and Mercy and as one hand rockets out to smash the rifle out of Mercy's hands, the tip of her remaining boot hits the gun in Brown's arm and deflects its aim upward. It discharges from the kick and rips another hole into the ceiling.

A second later the wall over Supergirl's body begins spewing chunks of plaster and wall-board into the hallway and a huge green drill bores through the wall. Green Lantern and Batgirl step through the hole in the wall as the drill bit dissolves back into the GL's ring. When Lantern sees the unconscious Supergirl and the glowing green rock beside her, he immediately realizes what's happened. A green fist forms around the green K and snakes out through the hole in the wall, up through the ground Lantern had tunnelled through and outside of the LexCorp building. Once outside the complex, the green hand transforms into a crude slingshot and shoots the chunk of deadly rock far out into Metropolis Bay.

"I've got these two," Batgirl announces as she leaps over to Brown. She pulls bat-cuffs from her bat-utility belt and bat-cuffs the man. She repeats the bat-process on Kelso a bat-second later and rises, raising her bat-arms like a bat-rodeo star who's brought down a bat-calf.

"This woman is finished," Wonder Woman announces as she recovers her Golden Lasso and wraps it around Mercy's shoulders. "Quick, girl!" the Amazon says, shaking Luthor's aide. The Amazon asks her captive, "quick, girl, where are our comrades? Where have you confined Superman, Batman, Flash and Hawkman? SPEAK, girl, the lasso commands you!"

"I . . . uh, I . . . they-they're in those rooms down the hall," Mercy answers.

"Lantern, can you see to our friends?" the woman warrior asks. "Batgirl and I can hold this place until you return. And now that Robin is recovering, he can help us!"

"My, my, my," a deep voice intones from the ruins of the wrecked elevator. "I hope you have insurance to cover all the damage you've done to my facility," Luthor says. He's hovering on his boot jets inside the destroyed elevator car as if he'd descended the elevator shaft on his boot jets.

"Luthor, you villain!" the Amazon hisses, turning toward the crimelord. "After what you've done to our friends, I'm surprised you have the nerve to show your face."

"Excuse me?" he says, a shocked look on his face. "What I'VE done? If you'll wait a moment, Princess, and look at the facts - Hell, look at the wall behind you, I think you'll see that YOU'VE done the damage, not me."

"WHAT?" the tall raven-haired beauty replies indignantly. "You attacked and kidnapped members of the League. We had to fight to get them free from your foul clutches!"

"Well, again, you need to look at the facts, Wonder Woman," Lex says, floating into the hallway and landing a few feet away from the Amazon. "A few days I ago came upon a badly beaten Supergirl and out of the goodness of my heart I brought her here to recover. I have surveillance videos that show her recovering, show her - uh, with my aide Mercy. We've been very supportive of her recovery. Her clothes were soiled so I had them removed and cleaned. When she needed something to wear, why I graciously loaned her something from our stores.

"I'm sure all your comrades will tell you that they were attacked by Supergirl, not by me or my staff!" Luthor continues sweetly. "Since all of the vigilantes were badly damaged, I naturally offered them a place to rest and recover from the damage she inflicted on them. And as for the fighting here, I'm sure my surveillance cameras will show that YOU so-called heroes attacked my staff, not the other way around!"

"Here they are," Green Lantern announces as he returns to the area outside the damaged elevator. His ring has created three floating stretchers, one each for Batman, Hawkman and the Flash. Each is still wearing his costume and mask and a host of bandages. They heard the end of Luthor's speech. "He's right," Batman says, "Supergirl attacked me. Luthor did nothing. Hawk, Flash?" The other two men on the floating stretchers nod their heads in agreement with the Caped Crusader.

Slowly, the Maid of Might rises to her feet and moves to stand beside Wonder Woman. "What about what you did to me? And where's my costume, Luthor!" she demands, swaying slightly on feet still weakened by the green K.

"After Mercy had it cleaned, I put it in the closet in my office," Luthor says, smiling sweetly at the green-clad heroine. "All you had to do was ask for it. As for what I did to you, my dear, well, again I just gave you a place to rest and recover. That is, Mercy gave you a place - part of her own apartment here within the LexCorp complex. And again, we have video tapes that show you were definitely NOT held here as a captive. You and Mercy seemed to . . . "

"STOP IT!" Supergirl screams, taking a step toward Luthor, "STOP YOUR LIES!"

"Hold, girl," Wonder Woman says, grabbing Supergirl's bicep. "We cannot get the truth from this man and he has built a wall of lies we cannot smash with muscles alone. We can do nothing without evidence of his perfidy. If you feel up to it, go up to his office and get your costume. I'll wait here. Lantern, I suggest you and Batgirl take our injured friends to a hospital for a checkup. Supergirl and I will meet you later at the League headquarters."

Lantern and the other League members float up through the crack in the wall. Supergirl leaps into the elevator shaft and rockets up to Luthor's top-floor office. In seconds, she returns to the underground battleground, dressed once more in her red, blue and yellow costume.

"Hear this, Luthor," Wonder Woman says in a cold, steel-hard voice, "if you have done anything to Superman, or if you send your minions against us again, we will repay you a thousand-fold for any damage or pain you cause. Send a bill for repairs to our headquarters." The Amazon grasps Supergirl's wrist and, although at first the Girl of Steel seems unlikely to move, she quickly relents and lets the brunette lead her to the hole in the wall. Together they leap through the hole and fly out of the complex.

Mercy and Luthor's men rise to their feet, rubbing sore spots on their bodies. "Too bad we lost Mighty Lass, Boss," Mercy says, limping over to stand beside Luthor.

"Well, it was fun while it lasted. I'm just sorry I didn't take the little cunt to bed."

"You didn't miss anything, Boss," Mercy says, wrapping one arm around Luthor's shoulder.
